Be more loving practice kindness make a difference accept change give of your abundance escape the comfortable sail far away from that stagnant shore embrace the unknown say farewell to fear be not selfish, be grateful for all youâve been given yet ever keep your heart and eyes open in case love or life may wish to offer you more

Settle down, too often are our thoughts too loud. Too heavy. Too much. I can hear you stumbling through the silence. Tripping over words that were never spoken.
âYou donât have to tell me, I knowâ remnant-thoughts (via remnant-thoughts)
Sadness walks in and out, around and about my room like it owns the place. Sadness walks all over me, steps all over me, treats me as much like property as it does my room. Sadness helps itself to the contents of my fridge, fixes itself a sandwich and some chips, asks if I want to split it. Itâs a trap but I fall for it every time. It feels nice to eat with company. Sadness eats with me a lot, makes me eat a lot. Sadness has no regards for privacy. Barges in like itâs got a VIP pass into all the parts of my life, exclusive access into all the pieces of me. Always times it just right so as to ruin every moment. Itâs almost as if Sadness does it on purpose. I try to make Sadness sleep on the couch tonight. Lately itâs been so draining, Sadness likes to stay up and whisper about all the hottest gossip, all the latest news about Happiness and how all my friends and family are well acquainted with it. Sadness tells me we are more than acquainted, so everyone else can suck it. Sadness has been there since day one. Had been by my side through it all. Even when I didnât need it, because thatâs what friends are for. I donât know how to tell Sadness I donât want to be friends anymore. I donât have the heart to. After all, Sadness has a point. No one knows me better, no one has seemed to treat me better. Sadness asks me if I am jealous of Happiness, if I want to get to know Happiness, to which I respond, âEveryone seems to enjoy its company, Happiness seems niceâ. Sadness quips, âIâm pretty sure itâs because theyâre sleeping with itâ. Sadness does not lie. Has never had the reason to lie to me. Sadness always says the right things. Knows to say the right things to say. In moments like these, I remember why I let Sadness stay for so long. Why it even bothers to stay for so long. Happiness is overrated. Sadness does not sleep on the couch.

While You're Here
If you were born, then you will die itâs sad but true, have no fear Please donât wait til itâs too late why not enjoy it while youâre here Give someone special a tender hug feel the wet sand beneath your toes Share a sunrise with your lover giggle while a puppy kisses your nose Listen to music, read a good book smile for absolutely no reason at all Try something youâve never done give someone who loves you a call Go tell your fear youâre not afraid smile and say, you were never real Enjoy everything, be loving and kind open your heart, itâs time to feel
How slow life is, How violent hope is.
Guillaume Apollinaire, from âMirabeau Bridge,â Alcools (1965)

Night. It was nice for the moment to be back. Gave some hope, some motivation.

Maybe everybody in the whole damn world is scared of each other.

Sometimes I find myself writing love letters dedicated to the people I have never met, asking them to take me to the places Iâve never been, and to give me the love I have never felt.

You just. You feel it in your heart, you know. And itâs like, not even your brain can comprehend the pain of it all. It sucks. It just really sucks man.
on describing this pain (via layla-and-majnun)
Its still that feeling, that heavy feeling. I just carry it around with me, not knowing where to put it. Afraid to share it with someone else.
To only you here on this page, what I speak to myself in the night. (SAH.xo)
