“–Did I really grab your coffee instead of mine?” Dallas frowned, holding the cup out to read the name on the cup, before raising his eyebrows, mouth dropping. “Wow, I really did do that. I am so sorry. –Allow me to buy you a new drink, please,” he insisted, pulling out his wallet to grab a few bills– more money than a coffee cost, but he felt really bad. “I’m an impatient idiot and a little delirious from caffeine withdrawals, and heard them say my name. Or what I thought was my name.”
Raising her eyebrows, she nodded at the man currently holding her cup of coffee. “Uh huh. You did. I would say you don’t have to apologize but I take my coffee very seriously.” She offered and smile and nodded before seeing the bills in his hand. “..Do you know how much a coffee costs?” She asked with a laugh. “I’m hoping your parents didn’t name you Serena too.” She chuckled. “You don’t have to tell me about caffeine withdrawals. If I try and go to lunch without any coffee..” She let out a whistle. “Bad things happen.”
