The camera blinks to life in a sunlit Paris hotel room, the frame slightly tilted and a familiar laugh fills the space as Y/n adjusts the tripod.
“Okay…I think that’s good,” she mutters, stepping back into view. Her hair is damp, an oversized robe slipping off one shoulder. “Hi, MYs! It’s Y/n, and I’m in Paris, yay! And today, we’re doing a get ready with me for Fashion Week.”
She waves, cheeks puffing as she smiles. “I’m here for Chanel this year, which still doesn’t feel real. Jimin’s also here for Prada, so aespa’s basically taking over Fashion Week.”
She pauses, trying not to blush at how casually she had said Karina’s name.
“Anyway,” she continues quickly, “I’ll show you guys how I get ready, talk about the look and maybe panic a little because Chanel called me their muse in an email.”
The camera catches her laugh, the easy kind that happens when no one else is around.
The next shot cuts to Y/n at the bathroom counter, tying her hair up with a silk ribbon and a small mountain of skincare bottles surround her.
“So I woke up like an hour ago,” she says, dabbing toner onto her cheeks. “Karina-unnie had an early Prada fitting, so I’ve basically been trying to convince myself to start moving ever since she left.”
She picks up a serum, pretending to read the label but smiling to herself.
“She texted me a photo of her outfit earlier,” she admits. “I can’t show it, obviously, but…let’s just say you guys are gonna lose your minds when you see her.”
Her phone buzzes again on the counter, the notification popping up on the screen.

The twenty-four year old idol glances at the screen, caught off guard.
“...She knows,” she mutters, looking at the camera with wide eyes. “She always knows.”
The next clip opens with foundation smudged on her wrist and a sponge falling on the floor.
“Okay,” she sighs, picking it up with exaggerated defeat. “This is already going well.”
She leans into the mirror, blending carefully. “I’ve been trying to practice my soft glam look since Chanel said they want “natural Parisian glow,” which like, what does that even mean? I’m Korean, I glow like…BB cream.”
She laughs again, quiet and self-teasing.
Off camera, there’s a knock from the main area of the hotel room.
Y/n freezes mid-swipe. “...No way.”
The door creaks open before she could even respond.
“Bonjour,” comes a familiar voice in a fake French accent.
Y/n turns, eyes wide in shock. “Karina?”
Karina steps into the frame, the picture of casual perfection in a Prada blazer, slick ponytail, and tinted lip balm looking as if she walked off of a runway.
“You’re supposed to be at your event,” Y/n says, trying to block the camera view.
“I finished early,” the aespa leader replied innocently, peeking over her shoulder at the setup. “And I wanted to see my favorite vlogger.”
“Favorite? Karina, the camera’s on.”
Karina leans slightly toward it, “Hi, MYs.”
“Don’t say hi!” the twenty-four year old blurts, flustered.
Now seated on the bed, Karina scrolls on her phone, pretending not to stare as Y/n curls her hair.
“You’re distracting me,” Y/n says without looking up.
“You’re sparkling, that’s not existing.”
Karina smirks, “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”
The camera catches Y/n’s reflection in the mirror as she rolls her eyes, trying not to smile. Her hand trembles slightly when she picks up the curling iron.
“Careful,” Karina murmurs softly from behind her. “You’re shaking.”
The aepsa leader stands, stepping closer until she’s just out of frame. She gently steadies Y/n’s wrist, her hand warm and voice lower.
“Don’t rush,” she whispers. “You always look better when you take your time.”
The younger woman exhales shakily, pretending to adjust the heat setting. “You can’t say things like that when we’re recording.”
“Then edit it out later.”
“I can’t edit that tone out, Karina.”
Karina chuckles, pressing her lips together to hide her grin.
The next cut jumps to Y/n holding up two Chanel looks, a sleek black dress and a tweed set.
“I can’t decide!” she groans, “This one’s more classic, but this one’s giving the main character who gets photographed by accident outside the show.”
“Pick the second one,” Karina says immediately.
“I don’t need to,” the aespa leader replied, lounging dramatically on the bed. “That’s the one that’ll make people regret blinking.”
Y/n gives her a look, “You’re unbelievable.”
“And you love me for it,” Karina says lightly, eyes soft.
The aespa vocalist opens her mouth then shuts it, cheeks turning pink. “...Cutting that out.”
Y/n sits at the vanity again, applying lip tint as the Eiffel Tower glows faintly through the window behind her.
“Okay, final look,” she says, fluffing her hair. “I think I’m ready to go humiliate myself in front of fashion legends and celebrities.”
“You’ll be perfect.” Karina says from off-camera.
“I was going to,” she admits, “But you look too pretty right now that I can’t move.”
Y/n shakes her head, smiling despite herself. “You’re ridiculous.”
“Maybe,” Karina says softly, stepping close enough that her perfume mingles with the Chanel one that Y/n was wearing. “But I mean it.”
Their eyes meet briefly in the mirror, Y/n’s voice drops to a whisper. “If they find out, you’re buying me all-new makeup.”
“Deal.” Karina says, her grin lazy and fond.
The camera shifts to Y/n in full glam, Chanel bag on her, standing by the window.
“Okay, MYs, I have to go now,” she says, waving to the lens. “Wish me luck, and if you see any paparazzi photos later, pretend you don’t notice how nervous I look, okay?”
She leans in to stop the recording, “Love you guys.”
The screen goes black, except for one last frame left uncut—Karina’s reflection in the window, smiling softly like she doesn’t know the camera’s still rolling.
Hours later, in the hotel suite, Y/n scrolls through the comment section of the video.
