serenaria
Just meters away, a mob of female NPCs crowded behind a single man. It was a comical sight, really; as soon as he walked, the NPCs would swarm after him like magnets - A group of flirtatious, swooning magnets. How amusing. Shion observed this spectacle from the relative safety of a park bench, emerald optics flicking lazily between the man and the notebook in her lap.Ā
Suppose she did something to catch his attention. It wouldnāt hurt to try; after all, she had nothing better to do. The girl set pen upon paper, scribbling down two sentences in flowing, cursive ink: āHow do you plan on ridding yourself of the crowd? If you even plan on doing so, that is.ā She gingerly removed the page and folded it into a plane, almost as if she were folding a piece of origami. But unlike origami, this structure served a practical purpose: to deliver a message. With one swift motion, dainty fingers guided the plane towards the manās head.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The constant company had grown further bothersome in the past weeks, but his countenance remained as easy and friendly to the group as always. There was no ill will born towards them, though his preference would certainly be to have not a single one of them around at all. There wasnāt many steps he could take to get them away however, so he joked and talked with them, but their flirting was always was with either a casual laugh or not much of a response at all. With his recent feelings, playing any girls along only felt awful.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā As he was parting his lips to reply to one of the girls, he noted the paper plane flying his way and, moving naturally as though he expected it, raised his arm to catch it. The surrounding girls giggled in certain awe ā some applauding, even, although he didnāt find it particularly impressive ā and crowded over his shoulder as he began to unfold it. He pushed himself forward however and, with a genuine smile, turned to tell them he wanted some space. As they tended to do, they remained in place (though obviously were disappointed) as he made his way to the shade of a tree some yards away.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā After scanning the words, he grinned and removed a pen to write his own message, folding the paper once done and sending the plane back to where he was sure it came from: a girl seated on a bench not quite far away.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āUsually in ways just as simple as you witnessed,ā would the paper read. āAlthough it seems you forced me to plan on doing so, no?ā
