I often felt like a nobody, who can't get along with anyone anywhere. That's why I liked music because through music, I was able to find myself and know who I am.

But it was hard for me to find Koreans in the American music industry, so although I thought that music is the only way for me to find myself, it made me wonder if I can really find myself.

In the middle of that thought, I saw BTS sunbaenim winning an award at the AMAs, which is a very famous [show]. Watching that made me have great pride as a Korean and encouraged me a lot. So it made me want to be a singer who can also help and encourage others.
