She knew Sherlock was a good detective, but it pained her to to admit it.

Sally frowned slightly, gripping the case folder she was holding tightly. Clearing her throat awkwardly, she stepped a little closer to Mycroft.

"With respect, sir, you seem awfully nonchalant about all of this. Your brother and I were far from friends, but I regret the way I pushed Greg into thinking Sherlock was...not what he seemed. I can't help but feel responsible. Still, you're right, he /is/ gone...I suppose there is no sense in going over the events any more than we need to."

Perhaps he was right. After seeing how Anderson had reacted, maybe the best thing to do would be to focus on clearing up the details and getting on with her life.

Sally’s been working abroad in Spain. After Sherlock’s death, there was a lot of trouble at the Yard and Sal was lucky to not lose her job. She agreed to work abroad in Europe to help solve some cases and to give things a chance to settle down. She’s back in London now, and ready to get back to Scotland Yard.

Imagine: Sherlock and Sally end up dating. They keep it quiet and professional. Sally ends up pregnant but when people ask who the father is she says "no ones business". Except when Sherlock is around she says "a bloody psychopath" and he smiles.
