Hi!!! I’m not trying to be mean or anything but I hope you know that you are directly breaking Lando’s boundries by letting ppl who are parasocial with him flock to youre blog to go and talk badly about Luisa because they are jealous of her. I think you need to rethink about letting these people have a voice in an online space when there behavior is super toxic.

Hi. I cannot believe that I’m revisiting this drama (especially after they broke up lol), but I think I ought to because of the fact that I still have 7 different asks relating to this and never properly cleared it up.

I’ll avoid specifics with Luisa because, to my knowledge, she and Lando are not together anymore. However, generally speaking, yes. People who have parasocial attachments to Lando should not congregate in a space that would actively encourage their behavior.

Why? It’s unhealthy. Simple as that.

The difference with this situation is that I was not doing that.

When Lando officially announced his relationship, a lot of Tumblr users immediately ostracized people who felt any sort of hurt or discomfort with the announcement, most commonly younger people still understanding boundaries and normalcy with celebrity-fan relationships. So, all I attempted to do was offer an inbox for people to open up to where they knew that I wasn’t instantly going to tear them down for feeling what they felt.

Unfortunately, some people struggled with seeing that right away and took it as me taking a neutral position that inadvertently encouraged those who were upset about Lando having a girlfriend, rather than taking a neutral position to talk those people through what they were feeling without pushing them to feel attacked, get defensive, and stop listening.

Either way, most of it didn’t matter because the discourse that I did engage in publicly on my blog was enough to scare those people into my DMs instead.

As always, my blog is a place for dialogue. If you want to give your opinion on this or anything else, don’t be shy :)

Hi! I’ve chosen this ask to respond to because it’s (surprisingly) one of the less aggressive messages I’ve received since taking a much-needed break from this website.

To the people messaging me about Stolen: I’m sorry for not updating.

Sadly, my fictional series about Lando Norris does not take priority over my chronic illness that has put me in the hospital 17 times since the last chapter came out. I’ll be completely honest, I’ve been more focused on learning to walk again than I have writing Formula 1 fanfiction.

For those interested, in spite of the absurd messages I’ve received, I’m considering the continuation of Stolen because I’m optimistic that a majority of you guys who liked my work were not the cowardly anons sending threats to me because of a fanfic.

Anyways, I am going to try to get to a few other asks today because I’m finally feeling up to it, but please have this be a reminder to not go and harass people online because you truly never know what is going on in their personal lives.

P.S. You’re lucky I’m in a good enough headspace to be reading this right now b/c a month ago this probably would have affected me lol
