gotta love that Warre. yes! Do you know his wikipedia page is not even translated from french to english! itās almost as big a shame on humans as monoculture.
Removing the walls that cultures and their world-based expectations build is essential to connecting with humanity. It is an essential part of finding the best version of yourself. You have to know what in your life is part of you and what is just there because of the influence of your culture. And you have to know because you can't waste time trying to change your culture. It is a futile exercise that just burns people out long before their time on the Earth ends.
The most basic expression of freedom is the ability to go where you want to go.
we have feel the burn in our muscles. every day.

Frankly Speaking With: Adesuwa Pariyapasat
Sheās stunning and ambitious; armed with an arresting personality and fascinatingly quick-witted, meet Adesuwa PariyapasatĀ a model currently based in New York City.Ā With a rising career, Adesuwa offers a look that is versatile and yet, insanely unique. But beyond her smashing exterior, she has a lot more to share with us. Via video chat, weĀ settled down on opposite sides of the country and spent two hours candidly discussing her modeling career, pride as a Nigerian, ties to home, and achieving the maximum in life.
(excerpt from interview)
Y:Ā Many African families have a set social structure when it comes to raising children; to set them on this institutionalized educational path to what they hope will be a steady career and financial success. Not all take that path. What do you have to say in the form of advice to our youth who want to follow their creative and sometimes unconventional (at least to their parents) dreams?
Adesuwa:Ā Initially, being a model was not the path for me. I was literally bred to become a doctor since I was a kid. Itās hard coming from Nigeria where everyoneās goal is to get an education and become something, but they donāt realize that if you are a natural born artist, it sort of kills you on the inside when you canāt become who you are. I didnāt like medical school. I used to cry in the laboratory. I was 16 and interning for NASA, but I was so unhappy. I tried to please my parents, but it was really hard. It took a leap of faith to convince myself that I could make it in modeling. If you honestly believe in your craft, if thatās all that you think and dream about, you should do it. Life is really, really short. Any one of us could die at any given time, any single say. Any of us. Right the fuck now, you could just die. Do what you want to make yourself happy.
It doesnāt matter if your parents are upset with you, eventually they will come back around because theyāre still your parents. I feel like every child brings dishonor at some point,Ā āOh no you bring dishonor!āĀ I got scouted but went back to school because I felt that I had to give my parents some kind of honor. But I was really, really, really unhappy. I donāt know, it just felt right that I became a model. It just felt right that I wasnāt a medical doctor.Ā Again with my brotherās death, everything was put into perspective so honestly, if you truly believe in something, you should do it.Ā

Platos and Aristotles
there will always be teachers and students with different opinions
before humanity knew anything for sure Plato knew what he knew to be true Aristotle felt the same way for different reasons than the Platos and Aristotles of the present day But they did not agree fundamentally on what made up the highest form of reality the sensational or the substantial Know Thyself once you know what you are, only then can you understand how much you are not. Feel it out what you experience is what you are decide you are always right andĀ you always will be.
thats what the two of them said, not me.
A human can only understand how right Plato actually was about the universe and its forms if they can think like Plato before now now we can send the Aristotles on a rocket to the moon let them experience the curvature of the earth burn down their world view leave their psyche in ruin or the simpler solution the one filled with love let them be give them function locally let the people who feel debate passionately while the people who see choose decisively
there is no right or wrong just Platos and Aristotles. now that we know lets use it to our advantage. our existence is at stake. human unity now.

Kerby Jean-Raymond thinks itās about time the fashion world woke up police violence.
He is losing money and losing exposure by cutting ties with journalists and editors who feel uncomfortable with the movement. The reason he made the collection is because of his own experience with police brutality after two cops drew guns on him because they thought his phone was a weapon.
