Seemed the unfortunate implication went over her head- not a hard thing to do, physically speaking. The irony of her defending her sister’s independence in the wake of perceived derision while being as overbearing as she had been and continued to be was lost on her as well. Saitama was not the only one who lacked self-awareness, apparently.
“Well.. I guess it doesn’t concern me, so whatever. If you didn’t find any monsters, isn’t that a good thing? It’s not like we’ve got any quotas to meet and no monsters means no one’s being bothered. Why not just relax and do something actually fun?”
Though it wasn’t as though he didn’t understand the sentiment of wanting to find some monstrus evil doers. For all his talk, he was itching to find something to make the day eventful. Even if only for a little while. Though his pessimism convinced him that he’d have no such luck.
