Unexpected Encounter! [Closed]
It hadn’t taken long for them to finally go up the line, the adult opening the little gate to allow them inside. Making herself comfortable on the bench, she nervously clutched onto Tama as she leaned over to look through the clear window that would give them the view as they ascended up. “A-Ah..” She shifted a little, leaning back against the seat. Yunoha wasn’t very good with heights, but it wasn’t that bad that it stopped her from enjoying the ride.
In fact, it was just nerves and excitement that made her shuffle about. Finally when the ferris wheel stopped, she couldn’t help but sigh at the sight that was before her. “W-Wow, Waver-kun, look..! We can see the school from here.”
She fumbled in taking out her phone, and near the window, she blinked when she spotted a little wheel. Grabbing it, she twirled it, watching with fascination as the window rolled down like one from a car. Now she could take pictures! Once she started, she stared down at her phone, smiling. The young girl would send these to her parents so they could see. Shifting back, she glanced over at Waver, cheeks red. “I’m having a fun time.” She commented, while shyly glancing down to her lap. “Thank you for coming with me.” It was her first time hanging out with a person, for that matter, so this made this trip special.
When they arrived to the little gate of the entrance, Waver swallowed. He was indeed excited, since it was the first time he had been in an amusement park, but he also felt something similar to… fear? Well, it was a new experience for the young magus. His body was subtly shaking, but it was shaking after all. He sat down on the bench, looking around. Will this be safe? We won’t fall down while we are ascending up, will we? Questions and questions were pounding away the boy’s mind, and he was truly scared. In return, Yunoha remained calm, at least more calm than Waver, sitting in front of him and looking through the window. You are sure a hopeless boy, aren’t you.
When the ferris wheel started moving, Waver left out a little whimper... He was scared after all. And wow, it was really moving! They were elevating! The boy approached one of the windows and looked down and he thought for some seconds he would faint. They were incredibly high! Hopefully, Yunoha’s voice took him away from his thoughts.
“W-Wow, Waver-kun, look..! We can see the school from here.”
And it was true! Tancho Academy could be seen from there; it was far away, but still. “It’s true! Whoa… This is amazing!” and the boy wasn’t really sure if it was amazing or terrifying; he couldn’t tell. Yunoha took her cellphone and took some photos of the beautiful landscape, and Waver did nothing but look stupidly at the girl. She was so pretty when she glanced at her phone, smiling to herself. He looked rapidly at the window when the girl looked at him. Staring at Yunoha like that must be rude! But her words comforted his heart in a way he would have never expected.
“I’m having a fun time. Thank you for coming with me.”
Waver smiled, without even realizing. He was happy, truly happy. “So am I,” the boy replied. “This is being a wonderful day!” and he wasn’t lying. Yunoha’s company was more than enjoyable. She was nice, and kind, and Waver was really happy when he was by her side. “I’ll invite you to one of that cotton candies when the ferris wheel stops. They must be delicious!”
