HEY! does the cafe in Latte Love have a name or logo? I didnt remember seeing one, so I reread it and got so caught up, when i got to the end again and realized I still didn't know.... if it is in there sorry XD. If it doesn't have a name what would you name it and in either case, where did the name come from?
OH Hello Anon! Sorry for the late answer here, I check this tumblr sparingly these days. I don't have a name for it actually!
I based the cafe in Latte Love on a cafe I had in my neighborhood that I loved (that went out of business a few years before the pandemic). Its name was a combination of a color and a particular legume, so I guess if I had to spitball names right now I'd do something as an homage to that cafe I loved.

Idk, until I can figure out a name for it, feel free to call it whatever you want if it follows that structure LMAO.
If I had to come up with a lore reason as to why the name has never been mentioned (that isn't the author completely forgetting), maybe since it's Grillby's POV, he's just...never looked up LMAO Or maybe the sign has always been obscured by trees or something funnier. Maybe he brings it up to Papyrus and Papyrus is like, 'What do you mean, the name is obviously--" (an unholy screech blocks out whatever he says)

General Application Requirements
Composition of the Zine
Our zine centers around the trope of Found Family in Undertale. For example:
What sort of things might Frisk experience post-Pacifist with their newfound home with Toriel?
Who exactly raised Undyne?
Which monsters come together after the human travels the Underground and leaves dust behind?
Do the lab monsters consider themselves family?
The answers to these questions (and more!) would fit the theme of the zine.
🏡 We hope to accept between 9-13 contributors (including 1-2 merch artists).
🌻 Illustrators, digital merch artists, and writers are welcome to apply.
🏡 Each contributor must produce a minimum of one (1) piece and may create up to two (2) pieces.
🌻 Writers and illustrators may opt to apply as a pair if they wish to work with each other on an illustrated fanfiction or a comic. (See paired writer section).
🏡 Alternate Universes (AUs) are not allowed, but interpretations of canon and Universe Alterations (UAs) are permitted.
🌻 Canon ships only, though this zine is placing an emphasis on gen content. However, we want to emphasize that ship-shaming/ship hate will not be tolerated as part of this project.
🏡 SFW pieces only.
General Application Requirements
🌻 You must be 18 years old or older to apply and participate.
🏡 Racism, transphobia, homophobia, queerphobia, ableism, shipshaming (of any kind. Yes, even the ones you hate and think are immoral), bullying, harassment, or any other repugnant behavior will not be tolerated. If you are actively engaging in this type of behavior, you will be removed from the zine. We will check for this behavior during the application process.
🌻 Each applicant will submit a portfolio of their work (details below).
🏡 We will consider your ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
🌻 We will also consider your ability to collaborate with others.
🏡 Incomplete applications will be disqualified. Failure to follow the application rules may hinder your chances of being accepted, so please take care to read the application questions/rules carefully.
🌻 We are aiming to have a selection of both known and lesser-known artists/writers.
Even if your portfolio is spectacular, because of the limited number of slots, we may take this into consideration.

ABOUT NEW HOME
New Home is a digital fanzine that centers around the trope of Found Family in Undertale. Undertale is a heart-warming RPG that introduces the player to a variety of unique characters who welcome the human to their home, albeit in interesting ways. The fandom has explored the many ways the characters form a family, whether they're blood-related or not.
Our zine hopes to highlight pieces that explore the found family theme. For example:
