Paris, France. September 2015.
Coming home is hard. After being back in the States for four months, I still feel like I don’t belong here. Sure, life is considerably easier, but it feels a lot less meaningless here than it did in Lille. Living in Europe is a totally different way of life that I can’t even begin to describe, and it definitely isn’t for some people. Some people can’t handle being ripped out of the comfort of living in the United States, but I crave it. I want nothing more than to pack up a few things, get on a plane, and never come back.
