Nele looking at her old life before losing her memories. Her old self is dead, and being kept by someone she has complicated feelings for who messed up her life by accident but she still feels connected to.
i was kinda surprised 2 see this dude had no fanart and then i tried to get his secret shop to open and it all made sense. it all made sense.

Thoughts on jeeko?
Anon, may I introduce you to the gospel of People In the Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear? Which might be, hands down, my favorite ATLA fic across the entire fandom?
The writing is spectacular, the mastery of the characters is amazing, the worldbuilding blew my mind, the way Nele plays with the reader's awareness of Zuko's history vs. Jee's ignorance is just a masterclass in narrative structure, the balance of trauma and interpersonal dynamics and humor is truly awe-inspiring. I literally started a book club for this fic I love it so, so much.
I have a long-fic Jeeko idea that I'm so looking forward to writing when I have the capacity to tackle another multi-chaptered canon rewrite type adventure (so...after the two post-canon multi-chapter adventure type things I'm currently working on haha). I refer to it as the Max Grief AU lol. A Zuko who liked his ship and his crew and Jee and then had it stolen/blown up out from under him by Zhao and then presumes them all to be dead after the North is...not a well-adjusted Zuko for our Earth Kingdom adventures lol
