All thanks to Mama Ghie, we went to Lian, Batangas last Thursday!! George’s mom’s home for a 2/3-week vacation from her work in Doha mainly to attend Nicole’s and George’s graduation and they’ve decided to go swimming before she leaves again on the 14th. So after days of planning and looking for a place to go, George finally finds this resort in Batangas, Matabungkay Beach Hotel.

So this beach resort is in Lian, Batangas and it’s pretty accessible esp if you have a car (unfortunately, we didn’t have one at the time). Commuting to the place was a drag but it’s fun esp when you’re with fun people!! Anyway, this is day 1 of this trip:
Groupie before leaving for the trip (as usual hahaha). We left the house in Cavite at around 8-9 in the morning since it’s gonna be a longass trip.
We arrived at the resort at 1:30, just in time for some late lunch before checking in. The food was meh (lmao joke lang it’s alright hahaha). We had the Batangas Bulalo, Sisig, and Fish and Chips! What we didn’t like about their restaurant is that it’s a little dark and it’s hot since their ceiling fans are limited (also the lobby) and they don’t provide stand fans (WARNING: malamok).

You can also do other stuff other than swimming. They have both indoor and outdoor activities! We played pool and table tennis before going to bed while George and her mom went swimming again :)

Aside from these, they also have Darts, KTV, and outdoor chess!
We occupied two (really spacious) rooms which had it’s own bathroom, bedroom, living room, and storage room (wc was pretty useless). As expected, beverages in the fridge are pricey as hell, just like any other hotels lmao anyway we played tong-its and did other stuff before going to bed.
Day 1 of this trip was super tiring yet super fun, though!!
