If Link had been looking for the Master Sword, he might have surmised that it would be in a forest, as it usually was. However, this was not the correct forest for that. of course, it might have looked that way, with the large clearing in the center.
An eyeball about the size of a softball, coated in a mint-green transparent slime, flew around Link. It looked him up and down speedily, and its pupil expanded slightly and then contracted again.
Link had been staring the map pretty hard, his one working eye glaring at it as he tried to remember where he was. This was definitely a forest of some kind. But he wasn't sure if he was on the right path.
He had only glanced up with a sigh when he spotted the floating eyeball. His body tensed as the map he held was slowly put down.
That.... was not normal. A monster maybe?
Maybe he should slowly start reaching for his sword just in case.
Opi must have gotten the vibe that Link did not see her as a friend, and started to hover back a little further from Link.
A moment later, a man burst out of the wooded area behind them. he stopped and leaned his hands on his knees, gasping for breath.
The man had pale green skin, and long emerald hair that lay haphazardly in front of his face. "Op-" he took another moment to catch his breath, "Opi, get over here" he called sternly.
The eyeball slunk back even further, hesitating, and then flew over to him.
Rhea reached up until he felt the slime around Opi, "What did I tell you about flying off without me?"
