hello fellow filthy casuals

Hello and welcome to my gaming blog! I’m @singull and this here is where I post all about video game shit. I’m a horrible easy mode player and I’ve hated Anders since playing Awakening lmao.

I primarily play games with stories (RPGs that allow me to make my own protagonist are my top favorites), but I’m also a slut for games that allow me to make a town, settlement, city, what have you…that said I’m not super keen into the management-type games. I just want to make snazzy looking places and watch NPCs roam them.

The Dragon Age series is my main boo that I’m always clowning for, but I also enjoyed Mass Effect, Cyberpunk 2077, and the Final Fantasy games. I also spent more time than I thought I did playing and replaying Grand Theft Auto V lmao. I’m also obsessed with the Devil May Cry series, but I’ve only ever properly played through and finished the fifth game bahaha (thank you YouTube game movies).

Other than the time I invested several years of my life on the first Destiny game, I’m not into online shit. I prefer to play on my own, thank you very much. Destiny really was fucking sweet though and right up my alley for Aesthetics…

Inquisition spoilers! It’s so weird cause I played that game first im still working through da2 yeah but I know this quest happens.

An old conversation Varric remembers having with Hawke. Her face flushed, a jug of some alcohol sitting on the table between the two of them that they were sharing. It was one cup, but they were close enough not to care about that.

Varric had truly thought to himself that it would be a moment he’d keep to his chest. Hawke’s warmth was something he’d cherish. The conversation died into nonsensicals as they both grew more and more hammered.

“Varric, would you tell my story if I died in a blaze of glory?” Hawke asks him, laughing softly. “I think I’m gonna die young, I don’t wanna see myself grow grey”

Her words caused his stomach to twist uncomfortably then, maybe the alcohol.

“You won’t if I have anything to say about it.” He responds to her with a grumble, and her eyes twinkled more in the light of the fire as she tilted her head at him. “Can’t wait to see you as a grandma”

She laughed.

Varric remembered that feeling as the wind blew in his face. Uncomfortable. His stomach dropped as he saw who was back— the inquisitor and that Alistair. Both of them wouldn’t look at him. The fade-rift closes behind them like a flame being doused in the air.

Not even a blaze of glory. A fire burning out.
