I did it... I listened to ALL of MC Bushpig/Passenger of Shit's popular music. It was an absolutely fucking crazy ride, so here's my thoughts on the whole experience, from all the songs I actually listened to fully. (Except for I Staple Tapeworms on my Penis, because everyone listened to it. I am still going to include it.)

And here's the list:

Severed Penis Orgy: A good enough start to the absolute fucking awful shitshow. It's pretty tame, minus the screaming.

Glykyala: My personal favorite. It's chill, kind of circusy. Perfect for anyone who wants that fix.

I Staple Tapeworms on My Penis: A classic, a very overdone song, but it's probably in between absolutely terrible and kind of fire.

Trendy Unicorn Dung: Also chill, kind of reminds me of Nero's Day at Disneyland.

Dreuibhjsdkfndfg: This sounds chill, but you will have to turn down your volume. it gets loud pretty fast. (depends on the ears)

Fuckinhardcorepoometaltrap: Yeah... about this... it's not gonna get better from here.

Uncontrollable Diarhea: Actually the most chill, but don't let that fool you. It's getting worse... just you wait.

Putrid Mutant: This fucking song... oh my god... when I listened to this whole 6 minutes and 24 seconds, it felt like I was going through the ninth circles of hell and back, overdosed, died, came back to life, bleed to death, shat bloody diarrhea over and over again, died again, hallucinated, lived once, came back to life, and when the song was over it literally was the first POS song that hurt my ears. I would only listen to that song if I was really in a shit place or at least had something to drink to make it feel less bad. It's agony.

Shit Funk Interlude: You're probably glad this lasts only 45 seconds.

Shittune: I hate this damn song, it's fucking awful, and that's the point. It feels like thinking this is the final straw but nope, it's also shockingly fucking terrible and hurts your ears.

Now these were only the popular songs on Spotify. Please, if you can, do not base your experience on these. There are many in the line to listen to, and if you have a ear, or some time, or a mind to waste, please listen yourself.

Now the next one will probably be Goreshit. It's not as bad but still terrible enough for me to listen to.

You know how some objects are literally designed to be loved? Like stuffed animals and playgrounds, that kinda thing. They exist to bring joy, and people get attached to them.

One of the things that makes me feel saddest is seeing those things abandoned or destroyed. An overgrown abandoned amusement park, animatronics stripped for parts, stuffed animals left in puddles of mud.

Something seems incredibly horribly wrong about witnessing these things, loved no more.

Well, actually, yes and no. He doesn't really mind it, but it does make him kind of scared. The last time he did that, he got quite a few awful remarks about his haircut when he was young. He probably would like a few tats, but nothing else. Maybe a personalized hat or a lip gloss.

I think actually, no. Though it is in his DNA, he would later realize that's not what he wanted to do at all. He may feel partially happy about it, but later realize it's not what he wanted to actually do. I wouldn't say he would be sad, but it would cause a lot of regret.

Is it just me or sometimes Red Guy in DHMIS in every episode in the TV show people are either mean, bullying him personally, or literally resulting in hurting him to prove a point? Even when they aren't it's almost like every one is either shocked at him being assertive (the fax machine violating his personal boundaries via flirting but also acting all shocked at his assertiveness) or straight up thinks it's rude or gross or bad in some way. It seems to be the issue with the reality of cartoon writing rooms, it's almost like abuse lives with the writers and is expected, especially of women in the US, to comply or perish with the rest of the slush pile. I would hope it's not the same poison in the writing rooms but whatever.

Anyways, I just started noticing how even his "best friend" seems to be against his own personal set of emotions. When he mentions his "worm" in his brain telling him he doesn't have the body type to wear denim (which is absolute bullshit btw) Duck responds in a way that infers he's at least a bit disgusted at the thought of him being anything but. In the OG series he's forcibly overstimulated by Tony (as with everyone else) and only he and Duck are the ones with obvious signs of painful overstimulation. When he shows a bit of happiness in the last episode, whatever that meant, singing the Creative song, his own people boo and criticize his song. Choo Choo literally smacks him in the face, and runs over his feet. People often just seem so judgemental about how he feels and how little or too much he seems to feel, which is somewhat synonymous with how hyper or hypoempathy peoples are treated, especially neurodivergent and queer. If you're not for a certain thing or 'feel too little', you're a bad person. But if you feel too much, you're wrong. There is no between.

This is also similar to how Jax is portrayed. She does get off the bullying, but so does Red, and they are both very young, in their 20s, and queer coded. (Or in Jax's case, is confirmed to be trans) Jax loves to hurt and belittle, but god forbid they feel a certain way, both are violated by the others. Red is stuck up and probably too down deep to realize his own toxic behaviors, but at least shows some point of empathy. Somehow it's always just wrong.

Will he ever get that part right? We don't know.

But yet us as fans do often woobify Red. It's not preferrable in my case. But hey, nobody listens to me anyways. I guess we will see.

the KIDS act passed the house today. 267-117, 47 not voting.

that's not great. but it's not the whole story.

a few things got worse right before the vote too. the language that explicitly protected encryption, saying the bill couldn't be used to force platforms to weaken it, got quietly stripped out on Friday. that safeguard just doesn't exist anymore.

but this isn't over. it heads to the senate next, and the senate is genuinely not on board. blumenthal and cantwell, two of the senators who wrote the original KOSA, are saying they don't want this version near a markup. blackburn, a republican and the other original author, called the missing duty of care provision a red line.

worth being clear here, blackburn isn't on our side. she wants the policy stronger, not gone. but that's still a crack we can use. her opposition means the house version has zero guaranteed path through the senate as written, and a stalled bill is a bill that isn't law yet. use her objection, don't trust her motive.

senate commerce hasn't even scheduled a markup yet. that's the next pressure point. this thing has died or gotten majorly rewritten at this stage before.

contact your senators: find yours here. tell them you don't want the house version anywhere near a vote.
