oh my god you're gonna make an otome game ?
Aah, I’m actually doing several different game projects, all 4 of them have a girl persues boy feature, and some girl persues guy feature. 1 is a straight up otome game (Dalliance) , another is an RPG type game (Memento Karotte) and the last two are dating sims (Caramel Beach and Untitled).
There are all at different stages of production at the moment, ranging from most playable to not> Caramel Beach, Dalliance, Memento Karotte, Untitled. The last BGs are for Untitled.
Untitled is supposed to have a lot of options on the main character front and on the activities front, with raising stats like: creativity, cooking, science, business, sports, ect. You will also be able to try out different jobs to earn money to spend everywhere. You also have to figure out how to keep yourself happy and healthy.
The game spans over 4 years, with you attending college or working. During these years you can meet several people including 4 guys; a student, a businessman, a doctor and a librarian.
Stat raising games are my guilty pleasure, and this project is basically just me messing about with a more simplistic style for everything.
The goal is to make the custom MC work, complete with shopping and everything, making a lot of backgrounds in short time frames and doing some graphic design in the logo’s of all the locations.
A background that I made this morning in about 2 hours before I went to school. That is about one third of what the total time th BG from yesterday will rake up to. Although I must admit, this one is a bit simpler than the other one,
Current WIP for the background process thing. I had to stop, because it’s late.
DALLIANCE DURRATION
The original play for Dalliance was to have a complete play through take about 40 to 60 minutes. As I am writing out the story outline for the script, I realise that it's probably going about trice as long as that, so 3 hours for a complete route.
This is actually a pretty cool development. I need to write another 1000 words to hit my wordcount for today, but it feels like everything is going smoothly.

Dalliance Update
Dalliance is coming along nicely. Half of the first interlude is complete minus two backgrounds. The word count is climbing steadily, as I'm getting in an average of 2000 words per day. Also, half the user interface has been implanted.
I'm hoping to get all the writing done this month, or at least 75% of it, so I can concentrate on the artwork solely next month.
Caramel Beach is a cute dating game located at the beach. Play as a guy or girl and meet new and old friends to smooch. Choose where you go, when you go there and what to do, it’s all possible!
These are character sketches for datable chracters that will eventually wind up in the game. The only ones certain will be the first an the last one, and those will be dateble in the first demo.

I said I was going to wait until summer holidays, but it’s may holidays, so I don’t see why I shouldn’t set out some prelim stuff.
