i have found your blog recently as i scrolled through the assassinβs creed tag, doomscrolling i would rather say because i do not use tumblr as frequently as i did a few years back maybe.
as a retired writer, i encourage you to keep writing not only for others but yourself!! :DD fanfiction is a brilliant way of practicing writing skills and the english language altogether, and especially helps with bringing your ideas to life. it is great to utilize it and mix with the writerβs personal feelings, as it leaves the readers their element in their style! similar to a personal signature.
i donβt know if anyone else has yet noticed, but fanfiction itself has been in a tough spot lately, mainly because of the usage of AI apps (AI chats bots, to be precise), poorly written but unfortunately published booktok books and, letβs not even begin our personal problems and the current state of the worldβ¦ ^^β however, it is still important to note that tumblr never changed and remains a sacred space, with new writers showing up every week, even to just give an update.
that alone is enough to contribute (which, again, you are doing this for free, but out of your passion, which itself is immaculate) and get all things started again! :)) interactions on said pieces can suck, it is like an unwritten rule at this point⦠but however many people interact with said post, go out of their way to express their feelings and gratitude for your work, that is a reminder that you are not unnoticed and your effort is not all in vein.
my apologies for this random, rather long ask, but i wanted to give you praise of my own :DD and well deserved, at that!
