pre relationship!Wanderer who walking through the Sumeru streets at night time while stumped on his paper. Because while the event of history is one he knows rather well, his professor has been getting on him for not being able to credit some of his sources and they didn't really take "I was there, I am the credited source." as an answer anymore. When in the distance he spots fellow Akademiya student and long time annoyance in his side, Sevrin, sitting on one of the higher up branches, legs dangling off the side staring off into the sky.
At first, he tsk'd his tongue and looked away. Why was this guy everywhere? First, he runs into the mage back as a Harbinger. And now he's here in Sumeru, he just couldn't catch a break. But yet he still found himself flying up to the branch, the mage was known for being clumsy and falling, Wanderer was just looking out for him...again. At least that's what he told himself as he walked closer, clearing his throat to not startle him off the edge himself.
Sevrin turned to look at the noise, but he just blinked when he saw Wanderer, taking a second to look him over before turning back to the sky. Though he did feel when Wanderer sat down next to him, keeping space between them. And for a moment, they just sat there in silence staring at the stars that twinkled in the sky.
"...You seem off. Are you alright?" Wanderer asked after a moment, use to the mage being hyper and happy, and being a thorn in his side.
"...I don't really know who I am right now. This...body doesn't seem like it mine..." Sevrin responded in a soft and hesitate tone. His eyes drifting to look at his hands, fidgets with his sleeves. "I..."
"It's okay. You don't have to explain if you don't want to. If you do, I'll lend an ear. But we can just sit here till your ready to leave." Wanderer said, pausing for a moment before he placed his hand on Sevrin's in an offer of comfort. Those he wasn't really sure why he felt the need to comfort someone he was sure he hated and could barely tolerate, but the way Sevrin's hair was fluffed and messy from where his hat usually sat. Those eyes that stared at the sky like they were lost and trying to find something. The moonlight reflecting off his pale skin...NO, he wasn't thinking like that, Sevrin was a thorn in his side, not...cute.
Sevrin looked down at the hand on his and shifted just slightly, interlocking their pinkies before he looked back up at the sky. "...I'm not sure who you are either...but thank you...i don't like being alone..."
