eyes glance nervously at anywhere but stefan. he’d just been invited to go to band rehearsal. with, like, stefan and his friends. was wiley ready for this advancement in their ‘ friendship ’ ? he wanted to be. but, at the same time, he couldn’t help but have an internal freak out⸺ he could barely manage to stay cool in front of stefan, but now he had to make his friends like him. maybe if his friends liked wiley, stefan would do more than just tolerate him.
he realizes that his mental spiel had caused a delay in his speech, so he quickly looks back at stefan and forces a smile that he hopes isn’t shaky. ❝ y-yeah, dude, i’ll come with ! ❞
