Here is my model of an Argus, loosely based on the one from Mechwarrior 4.

The diorama is directly inspired by the artwork enclosed in that game, I have forgotten the name of the artist who made it but it really stuck with me!

I made this model in about 2001, it is a kitbash/scratchbuild using parts from 1/60 bandai Patlabor models and other odds and ends like parts from tanks and RC models. It has some posability, the lower legs are a bit short because they broke and had to be replaced a few years ago. It was my first attempt at a landscaped base.

Majin Robo Veronica from episodes 44 and 45 of 1991′s Choujin Sentai Jetman is such a Keita Amemiya design that it just stands out. It has so many of his hallmarks from the complex, biotech feel (what I like to call ‘Bio-Gothic’) to the loincloth and the weird tail. It’s like a preview of all of his work to come like Kamen Rider ZO and Zeiram (which actually came out the same year as Jetman).
