佐藤勝利 - Theme: The Marius Yo I know
Marius has become really soft in the last few years. I think his image was always soft to begin with but with me he wasn’t like that (laughing). He was still young, he was living abroad for a long time and he was a kid with a strong ego. That’s a good thing to have but there have been times when as a member I didn’t know how to approach him. Since I was young as well I was also frantic and didn’t really have any composure, so I thought I needed to become the older brother and teach him in various situations so I often ended up interrupting conversations and we always had a fight. So the real quarrel was about being careful to keep your composure. Basically it was just a children’s fight (laughing). During that time when Marius was interviewed he often said „That time, (Matsushima) Sou-chan and me had a fight“, and even though I was just as involved in the fight Marius couldn’t say that (laughing). When I think about it now it were just small quarrels but since Marius and me were both children we couldn’t just say „now it’s enough!“ so we didn’t speak for an entire day… we often had situations like that.
Before when we did interviews or variety shows, I feel like teasing and „fighting“ were often misunderstood but recently I’m the one responsible for the teasing part (laughing). Marius is really funny when I do that, he’s somehow cute. It still hasn’t changed that he sometimes tells lies that are revealed immediately though, I think that’s still cute now. The thing that didn’t change is he’s still good at being sweet so I can’t really get angry. I think language is also related to that. For example, isn’t it difficult to convey the feeling of anger in English to someone who doesn’t speak English? Even if I get angry I cannot convey my feelings in detail, so there are times when I’m worried about getting frustrated that I have to adjust myself.
What do I wish for from now on? I want Marius to become his own mum. I would like you to carry it out yourself, it’s interesting because now you can properly analyse your surroundings. However, if you want to be even sweeter to me than you are now… I’m negotiable (laughing).
Q. Tell us a recent story about your fellow Johnny’s seniors or juniors!
There is no one I’m appearing together with recently but I went to have a meal together with V6’s Miyake Ken-kun. Even when we met at the Countdown concert he came close to me and said „What’s up“, that was really kind.
