i think completely pre transition trans people should be able to wear one tiny little pronoun pin and get gendered correctly every time. i think cis people should be transitioning just for the fun of it if they want to. i think you should be able to walk into any pharmacy and just buy hrt. i think that little boys should be able to sit in circles and play with dolls and paint each other's nails and make friendship bracelets. i think that little girls should be able to play with flaming monster trucks and play football and get competitive over video games. i think that arson (he/it/paw) should have paw's identity respected and treated as completely normal. i think that we should normalize neopronouns and weird genders and being weird or unusual in general. you should be able to explain your weird one of a kind xenogender to the least queer person on the planet and they should say "oh that's cool!! haven't heard of that gender before". you should be able to wear a tail in public you should be able to make out with your computer if you want i don't fucking care. i love transgenders i love neurodivergent people i love furries i love everyone outside the norm i love freaks i love nerds i love everyone.

I wish, rather than “invisibility” more people used “erasure”. Invisibility reads like something that just happens.
Trans men and transmascs aren’t invisible, we’re deliberately erased.
Kill the idea that trans men are invisible.
We are not invisible, cis society knows we exist. They deliberately erase us when it suits their needs and they acknowledge us as silly, simple women or predatory men when it suits their needs. The idea that we are “invisible” only serves to further harm us. Our oppression is treated as non-existent, lesser, or not a big deal because of this.
Being forcibly erased doesn’t also erase oppression; it’s being done to further our oppression + the oppression of trans women. There’s a reason why trans men existing loudly as trans and being open about transition is treated like we are transing the impressionable youth. When we are visible enough to be seen and listened to, we’re a threat. When we are visible enough to be seen and listened to, the lies transphobes are laid bare for everyone to see.
Do not join the side of cis society and aid in our deliberate erasure. Do not speak of the transphobia against us as “invisibility”, suggest that we scrape by because we are simply forgotten, or call us “collateral damage”.
There is nothing invisible about the impact of the antitransmasculine rhetoric, it’s on the books. It’s in the laws. If it is “invisible” to you, it’s something you’re choosing to overlook.
Transmasc invisibility does not exist, what gets referred to as “invisibility” is actually transmasculine erasure, which is a huge function of how transandrophobia functions.
No more calling our oppression invisibility.
Regular reminder that if you’re claiming trans men are invisible or that transphobes “don’t even know transmascs exist” you are actively participating in transmasc erasure and ignoring the way that erasure is being used to obscure the transandrophobia being written into LAW.
I find a funny post on my dash. I laugh. I click on the blog. "Oh, the person running it is a trans woman! How cool!" I says with joys. I jump up and down. I scroll through her blog to find more funny posts. I see that she has reblogged an Odd™ post concerning transfeminism. My spine tingles. Bad bad feeling. I search "trans men" on her blog. I am met with dozens of posts about trans "male privilege" and how trans men should be shot or forced into labor camps. I sigh and block that person's blog. I continue to scroll. The idea of our “true/real sex” having anything to do with who we are as people is rooted in white supremacist colonialist ideals that originated primarily to determine deviations or “disorders” of the sex and to categorize people with such deviations in order to deny them rights. What kind of body you were born in doesn’t actually tell any inherent truth about what kind of person you are.
To be upset by someone deliberately obscuring / confusing / hiding their “true sex” is to give credence to the idea that we are being kept from or denied some innate truth of that person, that denying us the knowledge of their “true sex” is a form of violence on its own. We are not being denied something, and it is not a violent act for any individual to keep such “truth” to themselves for any reason. Accepting that you are not entitled to such “truth” is a part of killing the cop in your head that beckons you to deny others freedoms in order to keep your illusion of safety intact and reify the concept of normative humanity so you continue to validate the structures of categorization and hegemony slowly suffocating every single one of us.
My post defended the trans masc community is getting traction again, but this time with the toxic side of it so let me be clear- the trans masc community is one of the most kind and caring communities I've ever gotten to know. Them talk about their experiences being trans is not them talking over women's voices, it's them taking up space they deserve. If you've ever equated being a man with being a rapist, you disgust me. Transandrophobia is a real issue in our community and if that term bothers you try this one on, you're a fucking transphobes and you being trans doesn't excuse it. Fuck you and your terf bullshit, stay the fuck away from my boys.
