back in october 2020, with only a few hundred active members, mcytblr spontaneously organized their own election cycle after one person posted a meme.  in one night, there were over 5 different parties campaigning, each of which consisted of a president and vice president.  the election went on for weeks.  there was even internal press coverage.  eventually, a vote was held and a leader was declared.

fast forward 7 months.  there are over a thousand active members in dsmpblr alone.  one unsuspecting post from an outsider falls onto our dashes.  in less than 24 hours, Penis SMP, an smp born completely from dsmpblr’s collective imaginations, trends at number 3 on the Hellsite.  this entirely fictional minecraft server is complete with an entire cast of characters and Lore.  there’s even fanart.
