i’m catching up on the scream news bc i’ve been behind on it and according to kevin the new movie isn’t gonna have deconstruction or self-awareness AT ALL but still has that nostalgic feel and i’m cautiously optimistic like i trust them..... it’s removing itself a bit from the source material but i know enough people on the team/cast who have worked with wes wouldn’t have done this movie or made it happen without him if it wasn’t gonna be true to the franchise and to all of wes’ work so
