[It’s Icedagger (again). He gives the warden a smile and wave, his wings fluttering excitedly.]

He sets his hammer down on the rocky ground, chuckling as he puts his hands on his hips. He hadn't seen Icedagger in forever.

[The heat was near unbearable for him, but Icedagger folds his wings and practically skips over to Banhammer.]

How have you been, big guy? Hehe.. anything interesting happen lately?

"Nothin much! Just.. warden duties, dealin with that Broker again & again.. but it's been good! I've got ta have some time off in the last few days. How have ya been? I don' see ya everyday, heh!"

He was a friendly, but intimidating guy. He looked genuinely happy to see Icey.

[They tilt their head and let out a small giggle.]

Broker’s that creepy cult guy, yeah? Yikes..

"Yep, that's 'im. He's a pain in the ass.. always skitterin away... I'mma get him one day I swear.."

He grumbles. Broker was a nuisance, a huge pain to deal with.

[He bounces near the edge, wincing as the heat radiating from the lava made his ankles sting.]

You better kick his ass, Banhammer! Hehe.

"I will, heh! Only a matter of time 'fore I deal with 'im fer good! He can't run ferever."

If he was intelligent, he would warn the deity & try to get him away from the edge, but that's not Banhammer, is it? He's too stupid to realize.

[He lets out a laugh, not noticing as he got closer to the edge. Icedagger opens his mouth to respond, but takes one singular misstep, and slips on a rock, losing his balance. They let out a startled yelp as they fall.. directly into the lava. Way to go, moron.]

Banhammer panics, rushing over as fast as he could (his fatass is slow), scrambling to the edge to help the ice deity out. Well, that escalated quickly.

[here-comes-the-snow]

[The ice deity plunges into the lava, quickly disappearing below the surface. Immediately, steam begins rising from the molten rock, along with some bubbles.]

[the-wardenn]

He runs over to the edge, kneeling & leaning over, immediately making the decision to... stick his arm in there to try & fish him out. His armor is heavy & enchanted, but it's not enough for him not to get burned. He bites his tongue as he tries to not scream in pain.

[Icedagger gets dragged out, unconscious, but shockingly not dead. His body feels incredibly hot to the touch, though.]

He scrambles to drag him as far away from the lava as possible, trying to be gentle but failing miserably. He's panicking. Shit, why did this happen?? Why did everything that could possibly go wrong happen to him??

[Their body is completely limp, their eyes closed. If it weren’t for their chest slowly moving to indicate breathing, they definitely would’ve appeared to have perished.]

They’re red, so they don’t belong to Subspace. I saw a bunch of Biografts wrapped up in it. Even though they’re robots, it just felt… wrong. There’s something going on here, and I’m gonna make sure I find out what it means."

"I poked one of the crystals. They dissolved. It sprayed spores all over me,and oddly enough, they got through my helmet. I’m worried this will get in the way of my mission, but I’m sure I’ll survive. H--[REDACTED] out."
