The greatest mistake a person can make is to repeat it. When we realize our mistake, it is a good idea to accept responsibility for it and apologize.

Think back and try to recall the people who had a positive influence on your life. Your parents, teachers, friends, or anyone who spent extra time to help you.
Perhaps it appears that they just did their job.
Not really.
They willingly sacrificed their time, effort, money, and many other things for you. They did it out of love and not for your thankfulness.
At some point, a person realizes the effort that went in to help them shape their future.
Its not too late to thank them.

Our Words Are Like Toothpaste: Think Before You Speak to Avoid the Mess
Think before we speak, and make sure our words are going to be put to good use before we let them out.” Once words come out of our mouths, no amount of “I’m sorry” will make them go back in. Thinking before we speak gives us time to consider the potential impact of our words.
It's like we squeeze the tube of toothpaste. When we squeeze, the toothpaste will come out, but we can't put the toothpaste back in the tube. Toothpaste represents the words we speak. Once we say something that we want to take back, it's impossible, and it only creates a mess.
Self-Belief: The True Source of Strength
A bird sitting on the branch of a tree is never afraid or worried about the strength or weakness of that branch because her trust is not in the branch but in her own wings.
