I am a photographer based in Toronto, Canada. An engineer by training, adventurer, and a mountaineer with immense passion for photography. My love affair with photography started at an age of 8 when I developed my first roll of black & white. Over the years, I learned through reading on a subject, but mostly hands on experimenting, eventually leading to a diploma from the New York Institute of Photography. I've traveled to well over 50 countries, from parts of Africa to North Korea, chasing once in a lifetime shots. While shooting, I forget about fatigue, hunger, and other day to day problems. If it means standing in freezing winds, climbing a mountain or just waiting patiently to get a shot, I'm there. I shoot a variety of styles – landscapes, travel, adventure, photojournalism, and portraits. I seek to document my personal experiences, capture scenes, events and humans as I see them in order to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world around. I also work as a part time guide for Young Pioneer Tours, a budget tour company that specializes in tours to places your mother doesn't want you to go ( North Korea, Iran, Iraq, Nagorno Karabakh, Tridnistia, Tibet etc.). If anyone is interested in future trips to DPRK ( aka North Korea), Iran, Iraq, Nagorno Karabakh, Cuba, etc. or get some advice travel advice to those places, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am also available for freelance photography assignments and would be happy to provide my CV. You can contact me at:
