I actually do think the she/they queer frog gifting their friend her bowtie and placing it in a feminine associated spot for bows is important to the scene and Jax's trans development

"[Queer character] is better queer rep than [other queer character]" and it's a character that doesn't show any struggles with queer identity (or only shows in it a way that makes it seem easy to overcome or deal with), has only good qualities, and is conforming to the stereotypes of the gender/sexuality given to them VS a character that isn't perfect, genuinely shows struggles queer people have with identity and expressing themselves, gets violent, has contradicting qualities to their identity (like internalised homophobic that ISNT just there to make your gay sex more interesting), and shows the negatives of living in a world that wants you to suppress yourself.

Taking Jax as a cautionary tale that if you want people to know your character is trans, hinting at it excessively isn't enough. You absolutely HAVE to shove it in their faces and say it out loud. Only issue there is that then people will complain about it being shallow, or if it wasn't originally revealed they were trans its something that's 'out of nowhere'

...Atp is it even worth trying to make a well thought out trans or queer character??

Why do people always try to 'catch you in a lie when you've told them you're arospec.

There's been multiple times I've been out with friends and done something platonically affectionate or said something romantic and someone HAS to pipe up to say something like "Uhhh don't you not feel romantic attraction? That seemed pretty romantic to me!!!" NO NO THE FUCK IT WASNT. I WAS BEING AFFECTIONATE. I HAVE NOT STATED ANYWHERE I FEEL ANYTHING BUT PLATONIC LOVE FOR THIS FRIEND. WHY DO YOU KEEP DOING THIS.

Only complaint with TADC is that having a Jester mc in a circus has somehow popularised the idea that Jesters belong in circuses. JESTERS AND CLOWNS ARE NOT THE SAME!!
