So... my shop isn’t making enough money to stay open on all shifts right now. As I’m a 3rd shift/overnight employee this means I don’t know when I’ll be working next. Fortunately, I have other means of income that are in the works, as well as being able to apply for unemployment since I probably won’t be working more than 30 hours when I do work.

Which means I’ll need some much needed distraction to keep me sane so I’ll be here quite a bit now.

So, I’ll be here and trying to get things started on my Captain Jack Harkness and Captain John Hart blogs.

Kat took a cigarette out as well lighting it up. “Slip of the mind..we met but under different circumstances..” The truth of the matter was John met Peregrine not Katarina. “We met in Star City helping a ‘mutual’ friend. Oliver Queen.”

“Ah, yes. One of those masked vigilante types then, eh?” John asked around the cigarette, looking her up and down once more. He never did really understand the mask bit. Why hide yourself if you’re doing some good? Of course, not everyone had the luxury of few close friends to put in danger, or a quick memory spell on hand to cloud people’s minds like he did.

Judging by her body type and her voice, he could give only a few guesses as to who she was. “The Peregrine, am I right? I knew there was a pretty face beneath that cowl. So... I work at a restaurant, and my state has just closed down all restaurants for dine in, which means to-go orders only. At the moment, I think I’ll be all right, but there might be a chance I can’t afford to pay my internet bill for a minute, so I might not be around if that happens.

Fortunately, I do believe my store will keep me on as full time even if we have to start limiting hours, as I both cook and serve so I can fill in on several different shifts.

We’ll see how things go.

I’m also working on blogs for two more old muses of mine who have resurfaced, I’ll be announcing those soon. Hell, I might get a lot more time very soon to play if we do get shut down and Comcast somehow decides to be gracious and forgive billing for the next month or two since so many people are probably going to be in the same boat.
