figured i might as well use the excuse,,, i been wanting 2 talk about n draw my new Me OC fur a while now, 2 show shade with his Wheeled Mobility Device (technically a wheelchair, but he likes calling it his 'wheelie pad') i know real life wheels fr animals r not like that, but it's different on purpose bc that's compatible with this shape + most of his other non humanoid shapes, and it doesn't get in the way of humanoid shapes or the act of transforming
i didn't wanna deal with drawing or coloring the face so i just drew onto my icon pic i screen grabbed from image search,,, i spent so long trying 2 get the pose i wanted, gave up on that pose n just did this ,,, didn't have energy left 2 draw the wheelie pad right so i just made a lazy approximation :'p
wheelie pad has drawers / compartments 2 hold stuff (acorn caps! cool rocks! snackies! sketchbook + mechanical pencil, etc.) there's supposed 2b two collapsible crutches clipped onto it (one on ether side) fur when he's in a humanoid form,,, it's also got speakers and a slide out keyboard so he can do text 2 speech or play songs or sound effects whenever~
shade has the same messed up spine (+ other disabilities) as me, he's not paralyzed , but he can't run without wheelie pad at all, n can't sit or lay certain ways,,, shade can stand all paws on the floor and if needed he can still walk short distances (slowly) by shuffling his back paws in very small steps, bc if ether leg is 2 far forward or 2 far back while standing then it pushes n pulls at a real bad spot in the spine in a way that Causes Problems
bluh, there's so much more i could say but if i wait 2 post this until i type all that , i'd miss my B-Day n likely wouldn't even post until after disability pride month was over :'/
