My actual favorite scotch, one ice cube to cool it down but not water it down and change the aged smooth taste. The other favorite is in an old fashioned drink.

Our car club went to a BBQ restaurant and my wife had just been to the dentist and her teeth were very sensitive. She asked the owner if his ribs were tender, his answer was you can suck them off the bone good. Thats what she ordered and told him why she asked. He said “I’ll take care of you!”. She took one bite and said that she was good to go! The owner brought another order out and checked on her and just laughed and said that I told you so. Sometimes she just wants ribs and it takes me about 3 1/2 hours to smoke them and add 25 minutes for the sauce to caramelize and she is good to go.

This how we always swam in the lake at our grandparents house on the lake. Both guys and girls were cousins so it wasn’t a big deal to swim together in our birthday suits. It was just fun when the summer heat was so extreme. Once we did our chores that grandma and grandpa needed us to do for them the swimming was the benefit of doing what they needed. Great times in the summer heat.
