I’m excited to see a black woman inhabit a role like this: fearless, bold, and sensual. I, unlike some of yall, am mature enough to be both excited to watch Michaela and excited to read Michael. I see how this change can not only transform, but improve Francesca’s story!! Like how do you not see the vision?!?

I love all four seasons. I enjoy fan fiction. And eventually when I finally read the books, I’m sure I will love them as well. I think there is space to love all interpretations!

Think of it like a ✨tapestry✨, where every contribution, from Julia Quinn to the writers room to the fans, is a piece of thread weaving this entire world together. Every single piece of thread matters.

So there is enough space to love everything that this universe can offer. If one thing doesn’t suit you, there are many other threads in this tapestry that do. 🥰

RHOP Karen Comes Home

Um… what is this? I know Karen doesn’t think this is what ‘taking accountability’ looks like. I hear a lot of minimizing and downplaying. Her family has been trying to get her help for 20 years apparently and she’s still making the same mistakes. Spinning the same tired excuses.

And, it seems that she wants us to focus on her substance abuse as the root cause for the accident instead of her decades-long alcoholism. Bc in her mind, it’s easier to shift the blame to her doctor for prescribing her “antidepressants” rather facing the fact that she is the problem. And has always been the problem.

I do feel bad for her and what happened to her when she was 19. I know that trauma is what catapulted her into this cycle. It’s fucked up, truly.

However, at 60, she still seems just as delusional as the day she was arrested.

Idk y’all… I kinda agree with the birds over there on twitter (I guess it’s ‘x’ now??? fuck Elon). I agree that they should’ve done Benedict’s season before Colin’s, for several reasons …

1. They chose to explore Benedict’s sexuality in season 3, so now… I personally don’t really care to seem him in a hetero relationship. At this point, I’d rather him explore his queerness and relationships with men. I would want Sophia to be queer too bc if not, then what was the point of all that? I want there to be MORE queer relationships in this show - not less! It’s like we’re trading him for Fran and that’s not fair!! Maybe I am ignorant to what bisexual men go through and this is actually good representation for them, idk! I’d love to hear someone speak about that more.

2. And this is the main consensus on that app… Benedict just doesn’t look that good anymore. 😬 I’m so sorry!!! But too much time has passed and… you know how white ppl age (like 🍼) lol so he looks BAD. Like his hairline is chopped. He looks older than his future mother in law. It’s just not giving this season. But season 2?! All Netflix had to do was show me that wet t shirt scene w Anthony and I was LOCKED IN!!! Has Netflix given us any thirst traps in preparation for this season?! No! So maybe he should’ve gotten that Botox that yall accused Luke of getting last year. 😤

3. If they pulled Benedict up to season 3, we could’ve let Pen get married to Debling (stay w me) and then when he disappears for his travels, Colin would step up to comfort Pen and… an affair will ensue! 😩 GOD I love a good cheating plot (I’m an Olitz stan) and that between Pen and Colin would have been so HOTTTTT!! And of course when Debling DIES, as one does in a multi year trip across the Atlantic Ocean, guess who’s right there to be the step daddy that stepped up? My main man Colin!!! (TBH, nobody on twitter said anything about this. This is just my personal wishes lol! Matter fact, let me just mosey on over to AO3 real quick lol)

All this is coming from someone who hasn’t read the books! I plan to read them once this show is over. I can’t wait for season 4!!!!!!!

RHOSLC S7 Reunion Part II

I’m so glad people are starting to see Meredith for the manipulative vindictive burn out that she is.

Britani deserves every lashing she gets. So much so, that you don’t need to make up accusations to get on her ass. There is plenty of material to work with (i.e., her daughters, Jared, her hypocritical Mormonism).

So the fact that Meredith is now twisting this ‘antisemitic nail tech’ situation to deflect from her (OBVIOUS) drinking problem just proves to me that she truly is grasping at straws.

She has nothing. She brings nothing. I’m bored watching her. This needs to be her last season. To quote her evil ass “YOU CAN LEAVE” ✌️

Guys… I think we need to just accept that the Bridgerton writers don’t give as much of a fuck about these characters as we do. As soon as Kate’s season was up, they said fuck her and all her supporting characters (Edwina, her mama, the Sheffields, even the damn baby).

Stop begging them to bring her and Daphne back. It’s over. Their season is over. They’re gone (as much as it pains me to say).

Let’s just focus on the stories ahead! Let’s be grateful that we are guaranteed a season 5 and 6!! Like do yall realize how rare that is, especially for a Netflix show?!? I swear I’ve never seen a group of people complain about a show so much, but claim they love it in the same breath.

Say what you want about housewives!!! Binging these shows have influenced me to be a better friend, to show up for people, and to admit fault.

Are these ladies showing me exactly what NOT to do? Absolutely!

But sometimes, they take accountability for something and apologize upfront and it’s nice. I take those examples with me. I’ve never texted my friends more. I’ve never invited people out and hosted events more.

Admittedly, I’m a homebody and socially anxious. But watching these wacky women take their friendships to literally the worst possible place and try to come back from it, helps MY anxiety. Bc whatever I do can’t possibly be as bad as what I’m watching on screen!

God, Britani is such a shit mother. Bronwyn is in this RV saying “I’m a germaphobe. I don’t like being this close to people”. Lady… You live with 6 dogs and your house is covered in shit. Let’s relax a bit. That being said, she IS right about Lisa even tho it’s mean.

And yes Heather plays stupid a lot. She did that back in her first blow up fight w Whitney. Whitney asked her to be honest about a rumor she heard about Lisa and Heather pretended like she never heard it and was pissed that Whitney was exposing her.

I’m glad Lisa bowed out of this girls trip. They needed her to be gone so they can sit and really be honest about her.
