now that i'm home, let's discuss.

we know that the inventory isn't particularly visible. we also know that no matter how full the inventory is, the character does not change on the outside.

we also know that when the player holds an item, their hand is close to their ass. (this is relevant, i promise)

and, when a player throws and item, it comes from their face - or, their mouth.

the player has no insides. we know this by the fact that, in vanilla minecraft, nothing but the player's inventory drops if they die. so they have no organs or bones. just the hollow outer shell.

in conclusion:

when the player puts something from their hand into their inventory, they push it up their ass.

when the player takes something from their inventory into their hand, they pull it from their ass.

when the player picks an item up from the ground, it is sucked up their ass like a hoover. (or a vacuum for you american people)

when the player throws an item, it comes out of their insides and up, projectile vomited out of their mouth.

The player, if they were solid, would have a volume of 1,664 cubic pixels (1,568 if they’re using an Alex skin).

Let’s just say that all of that were empty space.

A small slime has a volume of 512 cubic pixels. That’s 512 cubic pixels of pure slime. You could fit 3 slimes up your ass with room to spare.

And what about bees? Disregarding the wings and antennae, an adult bee has a volume of 490 cubic pixels. Now, unlike the player, the bee is actually solid, since it is full of love. You can also contain three whole bees, but this time with even more room to spare. You get to decide what you do with this space.

I literally had notebooks made out of sustainably-sourced sugarcane at my job before I left it. Here they are. There’s more where that came from, as well as compostable takeout containers, like these ones.

This is already a thing, and there’s virtually no difference in price. Companies are still cutting down forests to make notebooks and toilet paper because that’s what people are still buying.

Money talks. Re-evaluate your buying decisions and start buying green products instead. There are companies that make toilet paper out of recycled post-consumer materials (shredded paper from offices basically), Ziploc makes their plastics out of minimum 35% post-consumer plastic waste (and their cartons from 100% recycled paper!), and there are bottled water companies that have switched to compostable bottles or 100% recycled bottles.

Yes consumers are responsible for only 2% of the plastic pollution in the world, but it starts with consumers making better decisions about the products they buy. We need to teach wasteful companies that we prioritize recycled and responsible material sources. Read labels and make better decisions for the environment with each purchase you make. That’s what the free economy is supposed to be for - increase demand for the stuff we want to see more of, and the businesses who fail to adapt to the trend can starve.

Minecraft Multiplayer Creative!

 I set up my own Minecraft server to play around with! I’ve had some people in it and it’s really fun!

There have been various comedic shenanigans, as seen above! 

Here’s a cool town hall we built! It’s the spawn for the world, and has rules and player introductions!

Here’s a top-down view of Unnamed Town, so far! Town hall can be seen at the bottom right, with @bluedaggers​‘s aquarium next to it! At the top is my house, with some flower farms and a greenhouse in close proximity! That building on the bottom left isn’t an underground black market. 

Some closer images of the town’s buildings! (The lighthouse is a bit far away from the town, but still visible from there!!)

We’re based on an island I made in WorldPainter, so I had the opportunity to make some custom biomes, of sorts! Here’s some images of the island’s forests. I’ll be sure to post a map of the server later!

This has been very fun so far, though running the server can be stressful. I hope one day we can have many towns connected by rail and / or paths! Mutuals, let me know if you want to visit and / or build!
