I've posted two pictures of this strip of road before, but I'm adding another one for a few reasons; it's what I named my cubicle aisle at work, and I want a picture to go with it; Muza-chan and others posted pictures and history of it recently and I wanted to compare my recollection to theirs; and finally this picture is of the street as a bygone era — the modern signs have been banned since this was taken. I suppose that's as good a reason as any to plan a return trip to Kyoto...
