What it says on the tin, a blog that is made for people to give their critique of Shadow's Colours, a story that was made by Melmon Quartelz. Please note that this isn't about the situation at hand related to Melmon, this is only about her story, characters, as well as the writing and execution of said story. The only time if it's really related to a certain situation is if Melmon has made a reference to stuff behind the scenes and her stealing OCs from people who no longer associate with her.

Helloooooo everyone who's been following me since the golden days of this god forsaken blog, just thought I'd let you all know that I graduated today (on Paul McCartney's 84th birthday, no less!) and that I've severely lost interest in criticizing Shadow's Colours—mostly because I was unreasonably heated over it and letting my emotions get in the way of my opinions, but also since me and Mel had that unnecessary beef for a good bit.

I'm not exactly sure about what I'll be doing with this blog going forward, and I haven't been incredibly active on here ever since I've gotten into new hyperfixations. which is OBVIOUSLY The Beatles So, I might do a full-on rebrand, but we'll see what the future holds.

So yeah, that's all.

I know you don't really do this anymore, and don't even like this blog now, but... this morning, Mel posted a picture of Pastel looking grumpy with the description "Crazy how one person and (sic) ruin everythin' for everyone". Since you know more about the drama than I do, any idea what that could be about?

Heya everybody, I think it might be time to finally put this blog to rest, at least for a good while. Honestly, with offline stuff being piled up like the pelvis pain, the winter holidays coming soon, being an adult now, and me having a better support system that's been helping me realize I really have been getting bored of this blog these past few months and that I don't have to dwell on dumb stuff like an unfinished story (that I still don't like, don't get me wrong) honestly it might be for the better if I don't feed into anymore shit, because it's gotten very damn tiring.

I know this is either expected or unexpected depending on the person, but really, was I an asshole to Mel and literally anyone else who defended her or her unfinished story because I was holding onto a 15 year old me's rage towards her and it's something I've still been reluctant to let go of 3 years later? Yeah, I was. No getting around that, literally everyone can be a dickhead nowadays and I'm not an exception, fuck no I am not.

So, to Mel, her fans, friends, whoever the hell's inbetween, sent anon hate to me; If you still hate me for this post? Whatever, that's your feelings and only you can change them, I can't suddenly make you all feel deeply touched by this post at the snap of a finger like it's magic. This isn't an apology, and I think it's very obvious that I'm not asking to be forgiven, because I really do not care about any forgiveness aspects related to this, nor do I want it because it's literally not needed. It'd be unrealistic to see a whole tidal wave made up of 'Oh I/we forgive you, Pilot!' like I'm some cherub. I don't expect anyone, especially not Mel, to really reach out about it, especially where I think that both sides were very petty about this, and I'm not even sure if a resolve is even capable of happening with all this nonsense.

Will I still have my criticisms? Yeah, obviously, not sure what you're expecting. Sure, they probably weren't as helpful because of the posts mostly consisting of me being heated as all hell and holding onto bitterness from when I was 15, but trust me that I still have criticisms. Even if they were mostly consisting of rudeness.

Till then, this is the indefinite end to the flight, folks. Pilot out.

Hi, just thought you guys should know that I've been gone because of school stuff, and I'm feeling a large amount of pain in my pelvis lately (it gets so bad that I've gotten temporarily paralyzed,) so I might be going to a doctor later.

I read everyone's stuff and ill let yall know. Mel is friends with someone WHO has D.I.D but also repeatedly made fun of the person and talk shit behind there back.

Like how you gonna have friends. Talks shit. Loose them. Then replace them just to....do it over agian??? Its a cycle and one day she AINT gonna have anyone except koi and her bf.

I have D.I.D im diagnosed and the way Mel portays it IS SO OFFENSIVE. Yes you can have split versions of yourself But you would also have other PEOPLE in there not just versions of pastel.

Her story is also jacked up with substance abuse and I had a uncle who suffered and I asked him FOR advice for my OC thats has a substance abuse problem

She needs to do her research on alot and PUT EFFORT INTO THE STORY INSTED OF THE ART.

Why doesn't it surprise me that Mel is becoming more ableist and an even worse friend for literally anyone to have?

And yeah, I agree with you on the topics on how she shows off substance abuse and her genuine lack of care for DID (I have multiple friends with DID, and they HATE how Mel portrays it,) she's really unwilling to put actual, genuine knowledge into anything. She only cares about her art and not the story.

you can’t just say that while actively involving themes such as mental illnesses, abuse, SA, Drug use, child trafficking, etc- and call that “Oc stuff for fun”.

Sometimes I feel like people who would share their thoughts on here are some a Mel’s fans that have problems/criticisms about the story because their afraid to speak up without getting backlash or just ignore.

I use to feel this way while I was in her server so I would share my opinions or reimagine the situations that happened in the story with my friends.

Oh yes, absolutely. I wouldn't blame any fans coming here for their criticisms at all, especially where Mel just... really can't handle criticism, and it's been obvious that she's unable to accept it from other people.
