studyblr / historyblr Currently two years in on a research project about the Great Chicago Fire of 1871 so that will probably be the theme of many of my posts. (Also first-hand records of the event are really hard to find so if your family has a journal or something that has been passed down and you want to send me a picture I will be eternally grateful)

If some major catastrophic event were to happen that completely removed any ability to access the internet, we would most likely be the least documented generation in recorded history and I think about that a lot.

Yes my love language is gifts, but not in like an "I need you to spend lots of money on me" way. You could literally give me a crumpled up piece of notebook paper that you drew a smiley face on and I will treasure it forever. I just enjoy having physical reminders of the people that I love.
