Shae in s4
The stillness that has overcome the city is unnerving. I canât help but feel that something is brewing.
"Things that stay calm and easy for long truly mean something is being planned." His voice was a hush mumble, but his throat soon cleared when he addressed to her. "I assume this to be uncommon. The silence, I mean."
Shae turned towards the voice, nodding in to confirm his assumption. "You'd be correct," she allowed her voice to drop a bit, "and I assume that calmness means something uneasy occurring behind closed doors, do you not, Lord Snow?"
"Does the quiet not worry you, my lion?" Shae smiled at Tyrion wryfully. "There seems to be something impure in all this calm."
He paused at her words, his thinking shifted from the lack of the excitement from the recent affairs and celebrations to Shaeâs smile. âNot at the moment, it doesnât. It simply means that they have all tired from either fighting or drinking.â
"That is...much less exciting, but altogether more likely." She said, keeping the smile on her face.
"Perhaps now there will be peace and quiet to think." Tyrion mumbled, though he was always efficient at finding places that were empty, so many bodies at one time asking him stupid questions bothered the imp.
"Does the quiet not worry you, my lion?" Shae smiled at Tyrion wryfully. "There seems to be something impure in all this calm."

The stillness that has overcome the city is unnerving. I can't help but feel that something is brewing.
It seems that King's Landing has finally grown quiet
My lady, I would not let my guard down. This could merely be the calm before a grand storm.
I would think so. Â But I would find Daenerysâs Dothraki guards much more exotic then my sisters and I. Â Enough about me. Â Do you find your position pleasing? Â Do they treat you well in the palace?

That's true. The Dothraki do bring quite something different to King's Landing. They treat me well enough. I do enjoy being a handmaiden, truly, although the princess is quite guarded. I do not blame her, she must feel the need to be careful and to distrust. She is smart.
The gardens, I have heard, are splendid.  I believe it would be pleasant to see them.  They are not unkind here, but the women of court seem to hold those of us from Dorne in⊠slightly lower regard then those Tyrells.  Indeed, with the new king, I can understand the peopleâs plight with who exactly to swear fealty to.
Yes, the change in power has has caused quite an uproar, as you might imagine. And it's so unfortunate that most cannot see the beauty and strength in the Dornish people. Perhaps they are simply not accustomed to the exoticism, and so it frightens them?
âWe shanât need a name. We shall be so famous that we need only be called the Warrior Women.â Alys laughed brightly, brushing her hair from her face as she propped her blade against the wall.
Shae handed her blade to Alys, unsure of what to do with it. She finished off her wine and set the cup down on the table, laughing along with her companion. "No name it is."
"The blades shall stay blunt until youâre good enough not to get wounded. Only then shall we begin with sharp ones." Alys replied just as quickly, a smirk tugging her lips up.Â
"Fair enough, lady Alys," Shae mused with a half smile of her own. "Then I look forward to our lessons."
âIâm glad. Iâll turn you into a fine warrior woman yet.â Alys teased gently, smiling a little as she finished off her goblet of wine.
"Perhaps we'll begin our own clan. The warrior women of...of...oh, it doesn't matter." Shae said, laughing and waving her hand dismissively.
"Then I shall take you up on your offer, Shae. Best learn fast because Iâll stop holding back soon." Alys smirked, grinning.
"And how shall I explain the wounds to my mistress? The princess shouldn't like a battered handmaiden," Shae teased.
âI am indeed.â Alys laughed, raising an eyebrow challengingly. âWhy, are you offering?â She smirked slightly.
"Perhaps I am," Shae said, the smile audible in her voice. "I'm quite a fast learner, I could prove to be a formidable opponent in no time!"
