Riah Milton of Liberty Township, OH was only 25. Both were stolen from our world before their time, victims of the transphobic hate and violence that continues to terrorize our communities while the world watches silently. Dominique and Riah were killed within a 24 hour period, and news of their murders reached the LGBTQIA+ community as we mourned our 49 stolen siblings who were murdered 4 years ago at Pulse nightclub in Orlando. Meanwhile, the Trump administration has rolled out new hateful policies to further push trans PoC to the margins. All lives cannot matter until BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER - if we don’t fight for our most vulnerable, most marginalized and most stigmatized sisters & siblings, our revolution is no “revolution” at all.

I don’t know if many of you are aware of the story of a young 11 year old in Nigeria that was gang raped by 7 men! It’s absolutely disgusting that this happened but because the age of consent in the country is 11, a lot of people excuse this disgusting act.
