Where have I been?

Hello everyone who follows this blog, why haven’t I been posting anything for over a year now?

To be upfront, my physical and mental health has taken a major tumble.

Even before my physical health my mental health was already bad, I was just trying to ignore it, bury myself in my artwork and studies, my job, my music. Eventually though everything comes around and I couldn’t really ignore things anymore.

I am getting better, I will be back here one day posting my stuff again, just gotta take some time for myself.

Thankfully when things got bad family and friends were there for me, helped me. Even got me a dog!

This is Marshall, he is a Labradoodle poodle named after Marshall Lee from Fiona and Cake. He’s a good boy.

I will hopefully be moving soon to a better location where I hope there will be better overall for future long term goals.

I wish you all well, I hope you are all okay out there.

A collection of things #1

I've been busy the past few months since the Omori cards, life has been busy in general. Still when I get time I draw where possible, here is a dump of sketches, completed works, incomplete works, concepts, studies, character stuff. ^^

I don't play a lot of videogames but when I do I get quite deep into them. This game is on Kickstarter at the moment, I think it ends in a few days actually called Rollin' Rascal - here is a link.

I had this idea for a fire based power up and just had to draw it. x3

Omori Project Reveal - I made playing cards! 😁

Happy holidays, Merry Christmas everyone! I'm proud to present what I've been working on for the past few months.

I made a whole deck of playing cards based on Omori. xD Here are a few highlights to celebrate Omori's third birthday.

I will be very soon showing more of the deck and will be giving an explanation of how I tried to best represent the themes of Omori through the playing cards.

Another update from the Omori project. I'm near the end now. :3

I really look forward to showing you lot what this is. It's taken longer than I expected but I think the results have been absolutely worth it.

Anyway, the next update will be the reveal.

Another Omori piece towards my project. This time playing around with my polaroid camera. Sadly getting a good shot through that camera is really a luck/skill thing that I have not mastered.

I’m so sorry!

Another image of my Omori project, I do enjoy getting to draw some horror. I’d been wanting to play around with Procreate for a while, I mainly work in Clip Studio Paint but Procreate had the glitch and noise tools that helped accomplish that distortion seen at times in the game. I also just found this version of the character so freaky.

Working on my “project”, since I’d already done the stranger it made sense to draw Basil in his headspace form.I promise this will make sense later. xD

A collection of studies from the last month.

I’ve been making more of an effort this year to do my online classes and thought I’d present a collection of studies. :3

Collection of sketches studies and stuff over the last month.

Starting in order, quick sketch of Death of the Endless, been listening to Sandman at work, it’s really good. Original character then followed up by my avatar, experimenting with abstract-ish and colourful backgrounds. This time a random character inspired by The Price of Flesh. Lastly a collection of studies in manniquinization, simpliying the human body into simple shapes.

I like to think the reason the sanctum sanctorum is so full of snow in No Way Home is they lost Groot and had a lot of portals open. xP

Got to see the Snyder cut of Justice League, an improvement over what I saw in the cinema in 2017 though one hell of a slog to get through, had to plan dinner around it.
