Living as his Fiancé Sequel
Hey Everyone! I finally updated LAHF with the first sequel chapter which you lovelies have asked me about for a while! Sorry I couldn't do this sooner! But I hope you all like it! All the sequel chps continue after the epilouge chp. I will post the first chapter on this blog but the rest of them will be posted on the AFF site but I will let you guys know whenever I update the sequel. “Eun Mi – ah!” you screamed at the top your lungs, “Get back here!”
In your right hand you held a bottle of shampoo and in the other you held a large animal printed towel covered with her favorite wild creatures: koala bears and pandas. She always carried her towel everywhere. Whether it be at the dinner table or just going to sleep, she always had to have it. Well, all except for today. It was the day she dreaded for a long time. A day she had been complaining about ever since you mentioned it to her: Her first day of pre-school.
“Oh come on Eun Mi! You are going to be late!” you exclaimed in frustration since you had been playing this silly game of hide and seek with her all morning. On top of that, you woke up with a splitting headache and this wild goose chase wasn’t helping at all. You were so busy from preparing breakfast to fixing Eun-Mi’s bath that you didn’t even have a chance to focus on yourself.
To make situations even worse, you and Donghae stayed up late watching your favorite movie that you ended up sleeping at 2AM. Donghae of course fell asleep on the couch. It was expected since he had been working hard lately. Sometimes he would even arrive late back home.
Suddenly, you heard a loud squeal from the opposite end of the hallway. You gasped and sped towards that direction, worried if she had fallen or hurt herself. You arrived to see her swung over your husband’s shoulders, dangling from his back. You rolled your eyes. This was typical of him to fool around with his daughter in the morning. Eun Mi gently clasped her hands around her father’s neck and giggled as he swung her back and forth.
“Eun Mi, you have to get ready for school,” you stated softly. You walked up to the two of them as Donghae continued spinning her in circles, chuckling at his daughter’s frantic squealing. It was when you walked closer to them you realized that your husband was in the midst of getting ready for work when Eun Mi ran past the room. His white button-up shirt was completed unbuttoned revealing his perfectly toned abs. Just when you though he hadn’t paid attention to your staring, he gazed up at you and smirked.
“My wife never gets tired of admiring me, does she?” he asked proudly while winking at you. Your cheeks burned and turned into a deeper shade of crimson. When Eun Mi saw you from the corner of her eye, she grasped onto her father, refusing to budge.
“Appa, Umma is making me leave,” she whined.
“Aigoo, Eun Mi, no she is not. Why are you so scared about pre-school?” Donghae asked while bringing his daughter to face him.
“Because I won’t see Appa or Umma. I want to stay home. Can I?”
Donghae set his daughter down and kneeled down until he was at her level. “Hmmm, now where did my big, strong girl run off to? Is she hiding behind you?” He peeked behind Eun Mi and pouted. “No, is she outside?”
“I’m right here Appa,” Eun Mi giggled while raising her hands in the air.
“No way,” he replied while squinting his eyes with suspicion, “It can’t be you. Cause my girl isn’t afraid of anything.”
You giggled as you saw your daughter pout in fear that she had disappointed her father. You kneeled down beside them. “Don’t worry Eun Mi. You are going to make so much friends there. You won’t be lonely at all. Your teacher is going to be teaching you new songs, reading you books, and you will even get to play outside in the park every day.”
Eun Mi’s eyes widened. “Every day?” she asked with excitement.
You nodded. “I bet you wouldn’t even want to come back home! Sejun oppa was like that too.”
“Sejun oppa will be there too?”
“Of course, didn’t Auntie Bao Yu and Uncle Kyuhyun tell you when they visited us last month? You are going to be just fine at school.”
“Ok umma, I will go get ready for my bath then.” You smiled, kissed her rosy cheeks and gently nudged her towards the bathroom.
“Well that’s one crisis averted,” Donghae standing up along with you.
You chuckled and pointed to the bedroom. “And you better get ready soon, mister or you’ll be late for work!”
You were just about to leave the room when he grasped your wrist and spun you around until you crashed straight into his bare chest. You blush intensified when you came into contact with his warm skin, leaving your knees weak and legs shaking with anticipation. He gazed down into your eyes and lifted your chin upward.
“How’s my beautiful wife this morning?” he asked with his usual deep voice.
“Stressed,” you stated with a small sigh. He raised his eyebrow and gently brought his face closer towards your own. His lips gently came into contact with your left cheek.
You didn’t speak, but gave him a small, shy smile. From his reaction, you could tell that this wasn’t the kind of reaction he was expecting so he continued placing gentle kisses on your neck and then made his way towards your jawline.
“Oppa,” you giggled trying to push away from him but he held you firmly at the waist. He continued with his playful kisses while backing you up against the living room wall. When you were locked in place, Donghae trailed his fingers along your arms and placed a long, searing kiss on your neck causing your heartbeat to quicken its pace.
“Are you ok now?” he asked with his lips, gently grazing over yours.
Unable to recover from that heated moment, you couldn’t even respond to his words. “Umm I-,” you said softly. Donghae smiled at your stuttering. Even after three years of marriage, he still had this much of an effect on you.
“I guess not,” he replied and immediately captured your lips into one passionate kiss that had your insides burning with intense ecstasy and pleasure. He tilted his head to deepen the kiss causing you to melt into his arms. Luckily, he was able to catch you before you plummeted to the ground due your numb legs. He brought you closer to his body and lifted you off the ground. Unable to hold back, you wrapped your arms around his neck and responded to his kiss, causing him to smile.
The two of you to split away from one another. You sighed and leaned your forehead against his chest.
“I’ll make breakfast today so you just get Eun Mi ready ok?” Donghae said with a smile.
You nodded and pecked his cheek one last time before disappearing through the hallway. You were surprised at how well Eun Mi was cooperating after the two of you had talked to her this morning. After her bath, she scurried over to her dresser and pulled out a blue, flowery dress.
“This one!” she exclaimed excitedly. You laughed and nodded, signaling her it was ok. At that time, you felt your stomach ache. It wasn’t of actual pain but more because of hunger. It struck you so suddenly that it took you by surprise.
You left Eun Mi to pack her bag and sauntered towards the kitchen while clutching your stomach. You found a plate full of scrambled eggs with simmered ham and a mug of piping hot French vanilla coffee which you figured Donghae must have prepared for you. You pouted and grabbed a packet of ramyun from the top cabinet and started preparing a hot pan over the stove to cook it. You figured just the ramyun with seasoning wouldn’t be satisfying so you decided to add a slice of cheese, a hard-boiled egg and few pieces of meat. After 15 minutes, your dish was complete and you began to devour it.
It wasn’t until you heard whispering that you decided to turn around. You saw your husband and daughter stare at you from behind the counter.
Eun Mi was in her father’s arms and she pointed at you as if you had committed a huge crime. “Umma! Why are you eating ramyun? It’s not good for you in the morning!”
You rolled your eyes. “Well Umma is the only exception to that rule cause she is always working, so she can eat it whenever she wants!”
Donghae smirked as you snapped at your daughter.
“Is something funny?” you asked placing your chopsticks down on the counter.
He placed his palms outward in a defensive manner. “Of course not,” he replied and then turned to Eun Mi, “We better leave before your mother decides to gobble us up!”
Eun Mi giggled as Donghae walked towards the living room. You sighed and drank up the remaining soup within the bowl and placed it into the sink. Your stomachache was cured but your headache was back. How are you ever possibly going to work in this condition? You groaned and quickly got ready to join your husband and your daughter to start the day.
Within 20 minutes, you changed into your work clothes and put on some light make up and rushed outside. Donghae waved to you from the car. Before you could join him, you realized you forgot to take the mail yesterday so you gestured to him to wait for a while.
You sped towards the mailbox and stepped onto the main road. Just as you were about to take the envelopes from the compartment, your head began to spin while your stomach felt the urge to eject out the contents of this morning. Stunned at your sudden impulse to vomit, you gently bent over and held onto the mailbox for support. But nothing happened. Your eyesight became blurry and your limbs grew weak. You stepped back further onto the pavement when you heard a loud blaring horn. Before you could respond, you heard an ear-splitting scream from your daughter and Donghae screaming your name before everything went black.
