☆ she can't pinpoint when it started. when she came over more frequently, when she'd see sunlight peak through the curtains of her bedroom window instead of the moonlight that'd shine as she left, when the first thing she'd pick up off the floor was one of charlie's hoodies instead of her own t-shirt. it seemed as though their routine had shifted on its axis, lines blurring between domesticity and casual affair. 〝 you were in my dream last night, 〞 she mentions nonchalantly, as if making a comment about the weather. but the truth was that her heart was racing, hands shaking as she pulls a cigarette from its pack on the bedside table. 〝 i've never dreamt about you before. 〞

☆ 〝 well … 〞 phoebe starts, inspecting the donuts on the cooling rack with a hawk-like precision, like a judge on the great british bake off except the judge has no credentials and has never utilized an oven in her life. 〝 at least they're not burnt, 〞 she points out ( no need to put alex on speed dial, thank god. ) on the outside, they seem like perfectly normal donuts. but how did they taste? that was the million dollar question.
☆ nothing relaxes phoebe more than spending hours at the thrift store. she flutters through the place like a butterfly, plucking whatever catches her eye. she won't buy them all, of course, maybe a handful of pieces, but the best part was trying them on in the fitting room and taking selfies in the mirror. 〝 oh. my. god. 〞 phoebe mutters, mouth agape. 〝 look at this beauty! 〞 she takes the article off the rack and holds it up in full display — a leopard print fur coat, vintage and more importantly, with a 50% off tag dangling from the label. 〝 what do you think? 〞
sade stepped into the neighborhood bar with her sketchbook in hand and was immediately met with the aroma of craft beer and a warm greeting from the bartender. she wanted to have a drink and wasn't really in the mood to be at home, truth be told she was painfully bored and had a little too much free time for her liking. she sat down at the bar and ordered a whiskey sour, a quick glance around the space made her realize it was emptier than usual but she didn't mind it. sade focused her attention on her sketchbook and before she realized it she was sketching a quick portrait of the person a couple seats down from her at the bar. it wasn't unusual for her to do in public but probably a little weird to some. "okay so....how did i do?" she held her sketchbook up with a small smile to the other, hoping she wasn't disturbing. "i had idle hands and you were the first thing i saw. also portraits are my favorite."
☆ phoebe is a little less than sober, buzzed only after a few rounds of gin and tonics ( ever the lightweight, she never knew how to properly hold her alcohol. ) eyes scan the bar patrons like a museum-goer perusing art, until it falls upon sade, who approaches her like a tentative little mouse. a gasp leaves her lips at the sketch, smile tugging at the corners until she's grinning from ear to ear. 〝 you drew this? 〞 phoebe asks in disbelief. 〝 this is so good! 〞 she exclaims, gently taking the sketchbook in her hands to admire it further. she even got her eyebrows right — and that was of utmost importance. 〝 i've never had anyone draw me before. this is, like, the coolest thing anyone's ever done for me. 〞
omg … was that alice cullen i just saw pull up in their 2016 honda civic ?! no ?? oh … i guess it was just phoebe wright. you know? the twenty-five year old nail technician i was telling you about. i heard they’ve been living in ravenshore for four years, even though they’re originally from savannah, georgia. around common ground, they’re known for being amicable and peculiar, but i wouldn’t be surprised if their emotional side shows up after one too many dirty horchatas 👀. when they’re not thrifting or getting her tarot cards read, they’ve got vyzee by sophie blasting in their headphones — fitting, considering she keeps cat food in her purse to feed the strays. let’s hope their evil eye necklace lasts them until new year's eve. seeing as they’re a gemini, it shouldn’t be too hard.

born and raised in georgia, and is the youngest of three daughters. not much can be said about her upbringing except that it was filled with love and happy memories. her parents have a love only see in romcoms, and her sisters are her best friends. suffice to say, it was heartbreaking having to move to illinois for college.
she goes to northwestern to major in art history … only to dropout in her final year. phoebe has a quarter-life crisis, and considers going home, until she meets who she believes to be the girl of her dreams at a party. she falls fast and hard (not unheard of from phoebe) and after only a few months she moves into her place in chicago.
they break up a year later — she catches her in bed with another woman, and she moves out not an hour later. phoebe spends the next few months couch surfing in the homes of friends who'd let her until she manages to save enough for a studio apartment in ravenshore. it's not much, but it's hers.
phoebe is what people like to call the odd one out. she's weird, quirky, says things without thinking, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. she's been described by some as an “acquired taste”.
she's not religious, but she's extremely spiritual. her room is full of herbs and crystals and she smells like sage and weed. she turns to tarot to make important life decisions. she makes friends based on their “vibes”, and will especially look up your birth chart to see if they're compatible.
