âWhat part of âIâm busyâ donât you understand?âÂ
âThe part where you realize itâs me who needs you and you need a break?â
âlooks like youâre going to be kicking a punching bags ass.â
âa punching bag? really?â
âI thought you already said you were sure about me. That suddenly change?â He teased. âMy parents are nuts, but theyâd just want whatever makes me happy.â
âI am, sure about you. Iâm just not sure about marriage.â Bry punched his shoulder playfully. âIâm sure mine would want the same, but you know, when Iâm 50.â
âPretty sure he canât see at them moment.â Eddie smirked triumphantly before shrugging. âI guess Iâm out of commission for a few days - Iâm alright with that.â
âDamn, I guess you did some equal damage then.â Bry raised an amused brow. âEveryone needs a vacation every now and then, but this probably isnât the ideal way of going about getting one.â
âIt canât be THAT bad, can it?â eddie eyed the person in front of him awkwardly, they didnât initiate the fight but in the end - he got the luckier deal.
âI would hate to see the other guy.â Bryony frowned, eyes scanning over the open cuts. âIts um, itâs pretty bad. Iâm just being honest.â
âitâs just a little black eye, iâm fine, please stop worrying about me, alright ??â
âBut who did it to you? You can tell me. Iâll kick their ass, or....something.â
âOkay, to normal society, sure, itâs true. But you donât seem a like a girl that will go along just to get along.â
âYou would be surprised to find out what people would do just for an easy lifeâŚâ She sighed
âBut do you really want easy? You deserve better for yourself, girl! â
âThe lamp was an unfortunate casualty.â
âWhat did it do to deserve such a violent death?â
Mase looked down at her, âItâs not important. Let it go, please?.â He squeezed her hand, and sat down on a bench near them. âYeah. We could. But weâre not. Iâm not. Not anytime soon, thatâs for sure.â
âAlright.â Bry sighed, taking the seat beside him. âIâm not either, not until Iâm absolutely sure about it.â she smiled a bit, playing with his fingers. âMy mom would kill me either way.â
âWell, the thought of the future definitely isnât what stops me. Itâs so many other things. But thats not important.â Mase shrugged, âAre we really too young? A lot of people get engaged or married at our ages.â
âLike what? What kinds of things?â Bryony tilted her head with interest. âWell...I mean, weâre not...but...â she bit her lip, at a loss for words as the realization washed over her. âWe could actually do that.â
âBecause its specifically for indoors.â
Explain that one to the lamp.
âYes it is.â
âOkay, to normal society, sure, itâs true. But you donât seem a like a girl that will go along just to get along.â
âOh thank god. Iâm too young for all that.â He shrugged, nodding at her, keeping quiet for a minute. âI think about it everyday. Only few things can stop me from it. I just donât know whats right, right now. â If that makes any sense.â
"Because we're too young to think that seriously about it." Bryony nodded in understanding. "I think about it everyday too, but now and then the thought of the future scares the hell out of me."
"I didn't tell you that I love you. And look where that got us."
"That's not true."

âI mean something safe for indoors, Damian.â Bryony rolled her eyes.
âThis is technically safe indoors.â
"How the hell is that safe?"
shaketheskye:
âYouâre definitely the guy I need. That crosses that off.â Bryony joked half heartedly, stepping back again. âBut I get it. I respect it.â
âIt doesnât cross everything else off. And who knows, by the time Iâve figured it all out, you could have changed your mind by then.â Mase grabbed her hand pulling her close again. âThank you. I do love you Bry. You know that, right?â
âHonestly, I made up my mind a long time ago.â she said softly, resting her hand in his. âI love you too, you know that?â Bryony stood back on her toes to peck his cheek.
âWell. Hope you made the right decision then.â Mason half smiled and nodded, âYeah i know. If you didnât, we wouldnât be here right now.â
âI did.â Bryony agreed, squeezing his hand. âAnd you know what? I can wait. I can wait years if I have to.â
He laughed, âAlright well, I donât think Iâm going to make you wait that long. But itâs good to know, definitely.â
âYouâre worth every minute.â Bryony shrugged, dropping his hand lowering her gaze. âIâve seen what happens when you donât tell someone everything, and I donât want that to happen again.â
