@shalalasusan
can we?
I really do remember this night clearly.
Crap.
Made it to 240/365.
I’ll always wish I planned better, but I wish I planned better in Bergen to be able to sail through the fjords. There were some half-day trips but my host told me it’s only really worth it if you spend a full day.
Can’t get over how cute and colourful Nordic homes are. I felt like if I knocked on the doors, there would be a full-sized family welcoming me into their living room with danishes.
I almost didn’t go to Bergen and now I’m wondering how that ever even crossed my mind.
Bergen literally looked like a scene from Frozen.
Even when I was sitting on the “bad side of the train.”
I apparently sat on the “bad side” of the train, but since it was p empty, I just kept bouncing between the right and left side of the train.
An older gentleman saw me taking photos so he started to shimmy out of his seat and motioned for me to take his window seat. I insisted I could look out a different window and he said “Are you sure? I see this almost every week.”
I still couldn’t take his seat, but EVERY week? EVERY week, sir? What a dream.
A true Hogwarts Express ride from Oslo to Bergen.
