I am currently loving Living proof frizz shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo is free of sulfates but still produces a really nice lather. The conditioner is free of silicones but manages to make my dehydrated hair extremely soft. I am normally a die hard Kerastase  fan so at a fraction of the cost I will most definitely be repurchasing these!

CUCKOO FOR COCONUT OIL!

hair:

-can be used as a conditioner to add shine!

-also a great anti dandruff scalp treatment

-normally applied topically, but consuming the oil may actually help hair and skin stay soft.

skin:

-a supreme moisturizer helpful to people with eczema and dermatitis.

-antioxidant properties delay wrinkles

internal benefits include: weight loss, digestion, immunity, healing infections

For topical use just melt the oil over an open flame (not in a microwave) and apply.

For internal benefits just use the oil in place of vegetable, canola, or olive oil when cooking. bon appetit!

Beauty News: NARS Andy Warhol Collection A/W 2012

After working with fashion house Thakoon earlier in the year to create a limited edition series of brilliantly bright and bold nail polishes - the word on the beauty grape vine is that NARS are set to release an Andy Warhol inspired collection this coming October in the US and November internationally, yay!

As yet, the products haven’t been revealed, but knowing that the collaboration is in association with the late artists’ Andy Warhol Foundation and that it’ll be designed by creative director Francois Nars makes this a definite space to watch. Are you excited?
