I am once again back on my Daggerfall bullshit 🧝‍♀️🔮⚔️

Got enticed by an awesome mod collection and couldn't resist. Meet Rhiannon Moreau, Breton spellsword. After a frantic dash to find Lady Brisienna, I settled down in Daggerfall City, bought a horse and wagon, found my favorite tavern (it's the Restless Djinn; right next to a bunch of shops, a market square AND it even has a balcony with a bard), leveled up to level 2, and upgraded my gear.

The hardest thing to do at first was to earn enough money for a horse and wagon. A horse costs 3000 gold and a wagon costs 1000. PLUS, your gold actually takes up encumbrance in your inventory. My tip - download the wild ingredients and foraging mods, then sell all your ingredients around town to the various alchemists. Once you get a wagon, it's easy to lug all the armor and weapons you get from various enemies and sell them in town.

After obtaining a cozy profit, I attempted to continue the Main Quest by talking to Queen Aub-ki but she was all begone peasant you're too low level. So I joined the Mages Guild and have been slowly climbing the ranks.

One of the mods I installed also includes the random chance to acquire a powerful daedric artifact really early in the game. Got a random letter to find the OGHMA INFINIUM at LEVEL 2 (!!!) and couldn't resist. Another tip: make sure to screenshot any letters you receive! Some of them are marked for destruction and I guarantee you're not gonna remember the randomly generated names of locations and people.

Took me a few tries, but I finally managed to fell the daedra Morkith. Got THIRTY ATTRIBUTE POINTS from the Oghma Infinium and I never felt like more of an Epic Gamer in my life.

Can't recommend Daggerfall Unity enough. It's a steep learning curve, especially the combat, but man do you feel like a badass when you figure it out.

Millstone Farm

One of the oldest farm mods out there, but (imo) also the greatest. S'Raja got to catch up on a bunch of alchemy leveling, too. Jumped from level 84 to 100 in a week's time, thanks to the superior garden at Millstone (SO MANY RESTORE FATIGUE POTIONS). The garden is in its own cell, which means it resets on its own, so you can run about tending the farm animals, fishing, crafting, etc without disturbing the wait three days rule. The farm has its own animals, but I like to add more animals to make the farm feel more fleshed out.

I love the 5th picture. S'Raja, attempting to rizz a ghost, Embla incredulously staring at her, and Apollo fighting off a rat in the background. Perfect representation of their characters. The icing on the cake of a great quest? Even the guest at the campsite pauses to enjoy your melodic tunes.

Also I modified Tramp's look a little: now he has a bandana! I didn't end up going with purple for the texture though.

Through A Nightmare, Darkly.

One of my favorite quests. Definitely fun to do later in a playthrough to test how much your skills are based on your stats vs your gear 😅 the test of courage always gives me a mini panic attack...but in a good way.

It's fun to camp out with the crew, but sometimes it's nice for everyone to rest and recharge at an estate/hotel.

The estate mod is TES Diesel's Northern Star Mansion. I love all of the TES Diesel house mods, they blend effortlessly into Oblivion while also being incredibly beautiful!

Came across poor Agnar and Svenja in the Jerall Mountains...don't worry; they've been avenged (no spoilers). Decided to give them a proper burial...at least by Khajiit standards.

Perhaps an unpopular opinion: I really like the Imperial Orrery. Sure, the quest to get it restored is pretty lackluster, but it looks so damn cool once you get it going. Excuse my cursor, sorry about that.

Skill grinding for those sweet level ups. Yes I know alteration isn't a major skill for bards, but I love the lock opening spells in Oblivion.
