In the Lake House

The last piece in the VERSE 2 series inspired by JJ Project’s album In the lake House ver.

The life journey is not ended yet, but in the dark night we should take some rest. In the Lake house, at the midnight, we will sit together -- talking about our own memories, putting the missing pieces of the jigsaws with each other, and sleeping in our sweet dreams. We are connected by the bond of destiny like JJ Project. The pictures on the wall are drawn from the photos in VERSE 2′s photo book and photo essay. VERSE 2 is not just an album, but the true art.

By the Platform

This picture was inspired by JJ project’s VERSE 2 album By the Platform version.

We’ve already had morning and midday, now it’s evening turn. VERSE 2 tells us that life is a long journey. In the evening, we found the platform among the field and took some rest. We would sit together and watch the sun beating down to the tip of the grasses. Looking at the railway, we would go along together, to the place we could stay before the night comes.

Among the Field

This artwork was inspired by JJ project’s VERSE 2 album Among the Field version.

After we walked on the road in the morning, we move to stand still among the field during the midday. Changing from pink to the perfect blue with some clouds, Among the Field takes me to somewhere greener and fresher than the road. When we stuck in our minds in the day, VERSE 2 album will heal you by bringing you to the field that you can rest.

On the Road

Inspired from JJ project’s VERSE 2 album On the Road ver.

From my perspective, ‘On the Road’ reminded me of the morning -- a good time to start walking. Sometimes we may not know where the road is going to end, but it is just the morning, too early to conclude whether it is the right way or not. I used the blue and pink colors to create the vanilla sky for morning mood. Along with the endless field, the road reaching up on the sky is also reflected my imagination after listening to the whole VERSE 2 album.

The Secret Base

Inspired frrom JJProject’s track: Find You in the mini album VERSE 2

I used only a Syrup brush and Soft Airbrush in Procreate to challenge myself into the new levels. All the leaves in this painting were painted one by one, from a leaf to a bush, from a bush to a place full of trees.

Imagine you are sitting beside the small canal, listening to the sounds of flowing water, birds, and wind. Then, someone comes and find you. In your secret place, you start to share with someone.
