So, this look….

Firstly I love it; but secondly to that is, it’s plain insane!

No one else other than the king of the sea is going to get away with it!

So how do you go about getting an alternative bohemian / “gypsy” style look that isn’t going to get you locked in an asylum!

Hats over a crop of messy hair seem to be a must coupled with a well groomed but still rough looking crop of facial hair! T-shirts should have a vintage look in natural colours exposing a fair amount of chest! Shirts however can be quite bold with interesting print. Both should be loose fitting to the point of being oversized.

Trousers can be either fitted out lose as long as they have a vintage or aged look. Ripped holes in jeans gives a good and quick rough look which can be combined with many other items to create varied looks from bordering smart to rough and scruffy. Chinos in natural colours complement the colours of t-shirts.

Long jackets or cardigans will not only keep you warm but will add a touch of flare to an outfit. In fact layering with jackets, waistcoats, shirts and t-shirts creates a classic look.

Accessories are an important part of the look; a mixture of silver and natural material jewellery can be used quite heavily. The whole look itself can be accented with scarves in patterns and natural colours again.

A tough, rough pair of boots or a good pair of flip-flops finish off the look from head to toe.

I hope to create pieces of clothing with this style in mind…. Watch this space!
