I read sth on twitter about Haru trying to give Rin a protection charm (the railroad crossing when they were small). Is there really sth like that in the novel? I don't remember that happening in any of the anime.

Hmm, it’s been a minute since I watched that scene, but I don’t really remember that. Does it sound familiar to anyone else? Clearly a rewatch is in order 👀

This lovely person on twitter noticed in Free! The Final Stroke Part 2 that when Haru and Rin are practicing on their own, in their separate training sites, the flags at the pool are white + their respective image colors (blue for Haru and red for Rin), but after they reunite at the night pool and start training together, the flags share both of their colors ;;;;;;;
